All happened way faster than I could react at the time but it did still unfortunately hit the dog, and for those saying I didn’t stop I was in shock of going from 51-30 while hitting an animal, I drove forward made a u turn checked on the dog went to the vet and everything turned out alright for him. Dog comes out at 14-15 seconds and the hit occurs at 16. While FSD is amazing it can’t avoid every possible scenario, my best guess to why it didn’t swerve more was the oncoming traffic, had that car not been there it probably would’ve swerved more, but to the credit of FSD if it had not been enabled this would’ve probably been a worse outcome. For those wondering this was on a 2026 model 3 premium awd. Software 2026.20.3 and FSD 14.2.2.5 in I believe standard or hurry if I remember correctly."

Today Tesla at Naperville Chicago received in the showroom the Cosmic Silver Model YL I stopped in after work to check it out. Notables: Cosmic Silver with Zen Grey interior Black headliner 16 inch screen Launch emblems throughout. Center armrest also Zen Grey Cooled wireless charging. 3rd row floor is slightly elevated but not bad Plenty of space for each row. (I’m 6 foot and fit in 3rd row easily) I love the 20 inch wheels. Look very premium Overall it feels very premium and well made. Does not have front fender and rear camera washers like the Robotaxi 😢 but front bumper cam does have washer.

왜 테슬라 HW3의 FSD 14 Lite는 밤에 더 불안할까? 테슬라 HW3의 FSD 14 Lite가 특히 밤에 불안한 이유는 단순히 카메라 화질이 낮아서나 RAM이 적어서가 아닙니다. 밤에는 카메라에 들어오는 빛이 적어집니다. 어두운 곳을 밝게 찍으면 전조등이 번지고 모션 블러가 생기며, 전조등에 노출을 맞추면 검은 옷의 보행자나 희미한 차선이 배경 속으로 사라집니다. 이때 HW3의 약 1.2MP급 카메라는 HW4의 약 5MP급 카메라보다 작은 물체와 흐릿한 경계를 표현할 픽셀이 부족합니다. 카메라 정보가 부족하면 AI는 여러 프레임을 비교해 노이즈인지 실제로 움직이는 물체인지 판단해야 합니다. 문제는 이런 시간축 분석이 많은 연산과 빠른 메모리 접근을 요구한다는 점입니다. 테슬라 설명에 따르면 HW3의 메모리 대역폭은 HW4의 약 1/8입니다. @Tesla FSD doesn’t operate unless the driver is wearing a seatbelt. A very important additional safety feature of the software.

Tesla FSD auf der 🇩🇪 Autobahn: Wie schnell können wir fahren oder droht ein Spurwechsel-Ping-Pong? Wenn Tesla FSD (Supervised) zu uns kommt, stehen wir vor einer Frage, die es weltweit kein zweites Mal gibt: Wie verhält sich das System auf einer unbegrenzten, 3-spurigen Autobahn? Aktuell liegt das Limit beim klassischen Autopilot irgendwo zwischen 140-150 km/h. Selbst wenn Tesla das für FSD auf 150 oder 160 km/h anhebt – die wahre Challenge ist nicht das Tempo, sondern unsere Verkehrsregel-Logik im Vergleich zu den USA: 🇺🇸 In den USA gibt es oft 3 bis 7 Spuren, und man darf links wie rechts überholen. FSD ist hier deutlich flexibler. 🇩🇪 In Deutschland gilt das strikte Rechtsfahrgebot und Überholen ist nur links erlaubt – während von hinten Autos oft mit 200+ km/h angeflogen kommen. Genau hier droht auf der linken Spur ein extremes Spurwechsel-Dilemma: Fährt das System 140 oder 150 km/h, muss es wegen schnellerer Fahrzeuge permanent in die Mitte ausweichen – nur um Sekunden später wegen des nächsten Lkw wieder nach links zu ziehen. Wenn FSD ständig hin- und herpendelt, könnte das im Alltag ziemlich nerven und eher ein Mad-Max als Standard bedeuten. Bleibt das System bei uns am Ende ein reines "Mittelspur-Tool"? Glaubt ihr, Tesla passt die Software exklusiv für die deutsche Autobahn an und hebt das Limit deutlich an?
