@DomainDead What does "earn your vote" even mean? In my country you HAVE to vote, and we have preferential voting, so you look up the candidates and rank them from best to worst

For liberals it seems to be a genuine impossibility that politicians should have to EARN your vote instead of just being owed our fealty in a never ending billionaire class popularity contest where we have no agency.

I don't remember the last time a trans person was on tv speaking about their own lives. It's usually c!s people & almost always transphobic c!s people talking about trans people negatively. Anytime transphobes see a trans person on tv they rage that such a thing is allowed.

It’s a shame that @GMB felt that Keira Bell needed to be ‘balanced’ by a satisfied transitioner (who was affirmed throughout). We have heard voices like Keira’s so little, and there has been no shortage of affirmative lived experiences of trans-identified people. Keira WAS the balance to a deluge of affirmation. Unfortunately the guest was allowed to claim that puberty blockers are ‘completely reversible’. This advice was taken down from the NHS website several years ago. It was challenged by Kate Garraway but it should have been fact-checked in the brief. ‘No - that’s not the case’. No doubt this hit was an attempt to head off complaints activism at the pass. Paul Brand has a rep of being very activist but he was measured. They both were. Kate asked some insightful questions. Nothing new from the guest, who rolled out the usual lines: ‘it’s not happening’, ‘trans community is small’ ‘precocious puberty’ ‘the drugs are tremendously hard to get hold of’ ‘you’re monitored incredibly closely’ ‘I knew when I was tiny’ ‘decision comes with full information’ ‘detransition rate is vanishingly small’ and finally - the chutzpah - ‘we are so often not in the room’ (that last came with the encouragement of Paul Brand who just couldn’t stop himself throwing in ‘it’s so toxic, how does that make you feel’.) To be fair all of them could have been knocked out of the park by the journalists in SiJ (plus most of our non journalist followers) without catching a breath. Kate G really did seek to challenge. But it’s hard to deliver what must seem like very harsh facts when someone whose sanity depends on the facts being untrue is sitting right in front of you. That’s why gender identity activists focus on ‘lived experience’ journalism, in order to disarm. The visual furniture - ‘puberty blockers saved my life’ was ill-informed. Every single researcher putting a brief together should know that the suicide myth has been debunked by none other than the UK suicide commissioner, Louis Appleby, as well as gender activists in court hearings, and it should never be given prominence without challenge. Pres were fair. They are very exposed, and they’re not going to say on live TV, what if you want kids, aren’t you worried about your sexual function, how do you know you’re not just saying this because your brain was stalled in a pre-pubertal state, are you being chemically castrated, what about the elevated risk of cancer and stroke, have you thought about the next forty years of pharmacological dependence etc. But that’s a conversation that should have been had in planning. This is primarily a safeguarding issue, not just a culture war or political ding-ding. We campaign for balance. What a coincidence that outlets remember what what it is when they’ve had the audacity to platform a detransitioner. Finally well done to whoever added ‘controversial’ about half a dozen times to ‘puberty blocker trial’ in the script.

So there's effectively no more internal freedom of movement within the U.S. Travelers must go through federal checkpoints just to travel domestically. It's the culmination of the post-9/11 surveillance and national security state. nytimes.com/2026/03/24/us/…

@torieskill @Charlie_Knows @DavidLeavitt That is absolutely absurd. When it comes to dating, Conservative men avoid liberal women like the plague. They have absolutely no interest in them and your post is a perfect example of why.

Heated Rivalry News
Heated Rivalry News@heatedrivalnews·
Jacob Tierney talks about telling "a human story" and the decision to release the first two episodes of Heated Rivalry simultaneously: 'You know the truth is, it was so important to me that episodes one and two dropped at the same time because it was so clear to me—we’re building to Shane not sending that text, “We didn't even kiss.” And I knew that when I wrote that— Because that was an inner monologue in the book, and he was like, “I can't believe we didn't even kiss.” And I underlined it, and I was like, that's the thing I need to express here. That’s the perfect little moment. That tells you everything you need to know about this, is that all [Shane] thought about that whole time was kissing [Ilya]. And that takes—It does this, it does a complete flip to the sex… that can feel salacious or that can feel like, “oh my we're seeing so many butts!” And you're like no, this is just a reminder of here's where we're going and here's where we're coming from, you know? It’s like, what do they want? They want a human connection. They want intimacy.” Source - Live Q&A with Stage 32 on March 24, 2026: instagram.com/p/DWP-jdfgG8l/

In one of the weirdest turns yet, someone from the hate church I infiltrated and helped expose for child abuse has made an AI THRASH METAL song...to insult me. And there's someone else making parody songs of them, too. This got WILD. youtu.be/1eu6yxIhVgg?si…

🚨 so let me get this straight.. this morning Trump announced he's halting attacks on Iran.. someone made $1.5 billion trading on that news 5 minutes before the announcement.. and now tonight.. the Pentagon is weighing deployment of airtroops to Iran.. so the "peace" that someone made $1.5 billion off of.. lasted about 12 hours.. the pause was never peace.. it was a window.. long enough for someone to collect.. short enough for the war machine to reload.. they halted the attacks just long enough for the markets to move.. and now the troops are going in anyway.. you're not watching geopolitics.. you're watching a trade.
