Straight 3D printing content on YouTube has been in free fall for the last couple of years. YouTube is a game of adaptation, viewer psychology, and pushing limits. Most 3D printing creators never evolved. And even when I pushed the limits, the gatekeepers, the ones who enjoy watching grown men in aprons, got angry. The real secret to growth is ignoring them completely. They don’t matter. The total addressable market for pure 3D printing content is simply too small for meaningful growth. Smaller channels will have to adapt, or they’ll end up like many of the OG channels that are already in decline. For those OG channels, a pivot is almost impossible now, they have too many gatekeeping subscribers who won’t support it. It’s unfortunate, but it’s reality. If you actually want to grow 3D printing on YouTube, you have to think bigger. Get out of the endless “3D printer review” grind and stop making videos about a “cool 3D print.” Tell bigger stories. Stories that appeal to larger audiences. Stories that get people excited about the why behind the technology.

@ByLaughed @gotrice2024 Not my decision to eliminate checkers and by proxy, employ the customer as an unpaid checker. I'm not getting a discount for doing their job, I'm not receiving a paycheck for doing their job, I could care less that someone else is cheating the system.

@edgeof3d @gotrice2024 Apparently you never noticed the hordes not scanning, scanning a cheaper item code or otherwise trying to cheat the retailer and by extension, you, the legitimate customer.

What kind of worker accuses the customer of theft and blocks him from leaving even after the customer showed him the receipt? Some of these door checkers take their jobs way too seriously.

@ByLaughed @gotrice2024 I'm not showing my receipt, ever. When WalMart and other retailers decided to make me be their checker, then they have no right to question the job they hired me to do, without compensation I might add. Chuck can go be a checker and do the job in not getting paid to do.

After reviewing this video and the comments, it appears the customer would not show his receipt to Chuck. This is another troublemaker who thinks he knows the law. If you didn’t do anything wrong, what’s the harm in showing your receipt and being on your way? No, people like you gotta be a smartass and post crap on SM.

@MandicReally Talk about the need for a 6 figure income and 2nd mortgage to purchase a roll of Bambu engineering filament and get a real quick education from the fanboys about how superior it is (even though they've never printed with it).

People make a video about the Bambu H2D ($2300 usd cost) & folks rave about it. Make a video about a Resin printer that costs $1499 ($3k with ALL the accessories) & “wow that’s expensive”. I don’t really get it. Sure cheaper ones exist, but not with the same features. So? 🤷🏻

@ModBotArmy Jason gave me one of these to test when we were at MRRF, it works as good or better than any other nozzle I have run to date.
