Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.

@bostonianindc2 It’s your choice but as a Sun season ticket holder I will not watch another game after this year. They lost me with this move. SMDH

With the Sun moving to Houston do I… Stay a Sun fan? Go back to cheering for the Liberty (like I did when I was young?) Wait for New England to get another team? Pick another team based on vibes? If you cheer for another team… can you make your case for who I should follow?

still gathering my thoughts on the reported sale of the Sun to Houston. my first thought is of the fans, the team/staff and personnel. all of the people this impacts. there’s a lot that we DON’T know in terms of not only how the league will announce this and even attempt to word it (or even go about reviving the Comets marketing wise. do they just..combine their history? erase the Sun’s?) but also how it will be publicly handled this season…which starts in just a few weeks?

@jordannochiles I’m more pissed about this move than most but your take on how/why it happened is horrible.

@edpechie Because the WNBA/NBA owners clearly told Tilman Fertitta he could have the next WNBA franchise available.

@WhoIsDezja @alexaphilippou You may want to check ticket sales. NY also just priced their loyal fans out. The Sun sold out the Garden two years in a row.

@edpechie @alexaphilippou Fair, but why not try again with a city whose been here before. Arguably WNBA's most iconic team other than the Sparks. That market has been WAITING for a comeback. Or at least something enjoyable to watch besides the Texans

@AttackSheet @alexaphilippou Yeah because Houston is a much better basketball city than Boston. You lost the room…

@WhoIsDezja @alexaphilippou If you want to go there, and the team moves outside a 75 mile radius of its current location the argument is actually Boston vs Houston. FYI Houston loses that debate in everyone’s eyes but Cathy’s.

@AttackSheet @alexaphilippou I get that but for the sake of argument, the Comets already failed once and legally I’m not sure how the Hartford deal was rejected by the league. Boston was a better option than Houston if we’re moving outside the 75 mile radius of the W bylaws.

@PerryHQuattro @SaraJGamelli They had a $325 million dollar offer and a commitment to build a $100 million dollar practice facility. It’s like the league didn’t even entertain the idea.

@PerryHQuattro @SaraJGamelli Also had a matching offer from the Bucks ownership to move them to Hartford. Still have no idea how that didn’t happen.
