I moved out of my father's house before I turned 26 after NYSC. About 1 year after that, I took my first car to him to bless me. Few months after that, I invited him to come bless my new apartment. Few months after that, I told him that I was ready to marry my lovely wife. I married my wife 3 years after I moved out of my parents' home. The only time that my father gave me money after university, was when he sold one of his landed properties. He said that it was my share from the proceeds. I never called him to beg or ask for his financial assistance. Rather, I was calling for blessings, advice & honor. I don't know how to steal or deceive people to make financial gains off them. My parents never taught me that, and never endorsed such. I mean... My father was so open financially. We the children knew his source of livelihood. So I could not afford to tow a different path. Even in death, my late father is still better than me in all ramifications. And he wasn't a university graduate. His name still open doors for us his children. And right from his grave, he still sends me money, 10 years after his death. If I come here to say that I frown deeply at illegitimate earnings, I was brought up that way. I don't know how to do it, because I know that it's not right. If your father or mother frowns at illegitimate ways of living, the least you can do, is to uphold their beliefs and live right by them. You don't have to be rich. But you'll have peace. End

1. Observe these milestones closely and here’s what to look out for at #Infancy (0–12 months) across physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and language milestones. Physical: Rolls over, sits without support, crawls, pulls to stand.

If you’re 35–40 years old, go for women 27–35 because by now, you should know yourself clearly. You need a woman who either matches your maturity (30–35) or one a little younger (late 20s) who still has room to grow into your pace. Anything below 27 at this stage may feel like a wide gap in mindset. 40–45 years old, go for women 30–38. At this stage, you want peace, not unnecessary drama. Women in their 30s often value stability, respect, and emotional support. They are less about games and more about building or maintaining a calm home. 45 years and above, go for women 35–45 (and above). By this age, it’s about companionship, shared values, and life balance. Younger women may not connect with your stage of life. Women in their mid-30s to 40s are usually emotionally mature, less demanding in flashy ways, and more focused on partnership. The point is: age balance is not just about numbers, it’s about maturity, goals, and life stage. If you pick too young, you may struggle with mismatched priorities. If you pick too old for where you are, you may feel pressured. 🤷‍♂️

Dear men, the age of the woman you go for matters. If you mismatch, you’ll either be drained, pressured, or played. Here’s a simple guide on the right age range for you from 25 to 45+ If you’re 25–30 years old, go for women 22–27. At this stage, you’re still building yourself, trying to figure out career, money, and stability. Women a bit younger (but not too young) are often still flexible and growing with you. Women slightly older (26–27) may already be more focused on settling, which keeps you grounded. If you’re 30–35 years old, go for women 25–32. Here, maturity matters. You’re more stable, and women in their late 20s to early 30s are usually ready to build seriously. A 25-year-old may bring freshness and energy, while a 32-year-old may bring emotional depth and life experience. Both balance well with where you are.

For those asking for age range - There's 7-11 And there's 12-17! And of course, kids in diaspora can benefit from this too! Remember, kids' money habits are largely formed by age 7 according to research from the University of Cambridge and other studies on financial behavior. The earlier you equip your child with financial literacy, the earlier you prepare them for the future ahead of them. With just ₦25k, you can enroll your child for this ! And if you don't have kids yet, you can support your neighbor's kids too, or kids in your church or mosque. Pick 4 kids or teenagers in your neighborhood and enroll them today ! Visit moneyafricakids.com or send a dm to @moneyafricakids to get started !
