The second season of Fallout has been a massive disappointment so far imo. The destruction of the car by the Brotherhood of Steel contradicts their mission to preserve pre-war technology, feeling like a betrayal of the franchise’s lore. The focus on controversial changes, such as the destruction of Shady Sands and Robert House’s brain-computer interface plans, has alienated many. Despite favorable reviews from outlets that I don’t give a fk about, the narrative choices have not resonated with the core audience, leading to widespread dissatisfaction, sadly, as expected. The high expectations set by the first season’s success have not been met.

The Brotherhood of Steel is fundamentally dedicated to preserving lost pre-war, and in the show they are destroying it. What a joke
