Tucker Carlson dropped a piece of old-school wisdom that hits harder the older you get:
“Try to marry a girl who likes her dad.”
He explained it simply: girls who grow up feeling secure in their father’s love and leadership tend to be more stable, less “jumpy,” and don’t assume every argument means the relationship is ending.
Those who were deeply disappointed by their dads often carry that mark into adulthood, making relationships harder — even if they turn out to be wonderful people.
It’s not about perfection. It’s about the quiet foundation a healthy father-daughter bond provides.
Have you noticed this pattern in relationships you’ve seen or been in?
Or do you think it’s outdated advice in 2026?

@Skriptkeeper17 Islamic terrorism is a thing and so is Zionist terrorism. You can be critical both. This guy is attempting to downplay one by virtue, signaling another.

@mrnotsosmart @newstart_2024 @grok These benefits can still be achieved through caloric restriction without necessity for fasting…

@newstart_2024 @grok that’s a theory what proof is there of it.

Joe Rogan asked David Sinclair: If one meal a day is so effective, why not just eat smaller meals multiple times instead?
Sinclair’s answer cuts deep: Our bodies evolved over millions of years in environments full of adversity — hunger, scarcity, survival. We’ve removed that stress because it feels good, but we actually need it.
When you fast, even briefly, your body flips on “adversity response” genes — what Sinclair calls longevity genes. These ramp up repair, resilience, and disease defense. Eat constantly (breakfast as the “most important meal,” snacks all day), and your body thinks: “I just killed a mammoth. No threats here. Time to reproduce, not invest in long-term survival.”
Constant eating signals safety. Periodic hunger signals: fight harder, repair better, age slower.
A concise, science-backed reminder that comfort might be quietly working against us.
What part of this evolutionary perspective on fasting and longevity hits you hardest — the role of hormesis/adversity, or how modern eating habits might be quietly undermining resilience?

@tantehenia Money + Looks is ideally preferred, however clout is another variable that’s hardly if ever accounted for and clout is extremely variabilistic and contextual too.
English

Clavicular claims looks are more valuable than money when it comes to attracting women. 😳🔥
“How come I pull all these girls so easily, but there are people next to me who mog me in finances and still can’t?”
“Women don’t perceive money very well at all — it’s not like I own this house, but they don’t even know the difference.” 💬

@onlydubsX So what happens? She keeps all of her money to herself? Black women are the most educated demographic. Stop being lazy and work.

When you study bodybuilding, each era has its own distinct look.
In the ’70s, what really stands out is the chest development.
Arnold, Lou Ferrigno, Serge Nubret, Franco Columbu, just to name a few, had some of the best pecs ever seen…
They didn’t have those massive, capped shoulders, huge wheels, or Dorian Yates–type backs.
But the chest, along with great arms and midsections… that’s what defined that era.
Their training? Mostly free weights:
flat and incline bench, dips, dumbbell flyes,
and a few cable crossovers to squeeze in that last bit of blood.
A lot of volume, tons of sets, all sorts of reps, high frequency.
Just the basics, repeated over and over.

@DeanTTraining @mynameisrome_ Nothing wrong with straight bar curls. Are there more optimal exercises and movements? Sure. It all comes down to preference and sustainability. I personally prefer them to any bicep exercise
English

@mynameisrome_ Machine curls
Preacher cable/machine
Upper arm support db curls / cable curls
Upper arm support db hammer curls
Cable Bayesians

@JSantorella2 Once or twice a week.
4-6 sets are more than enough.

@bigboyJyg @yosoymario91 @speedybrute You’re right but the energy intake overconsumption is from carbs. A lot more difficult to overconsume protein, especially lean protein
English

@yosoymario91 @speedybrute Nah. You cant take fitness advice from dudes who use cuz they are playing in an unfair advantage. For everyone else, it’s all about body fat percent and lean mass you have.

@RoyalRumble4444 @KLexJones @YoungGun8140 Get in line. What happens with women is cognitive dissonance. They have a new found place socioeconomically but their preferences haven’t evolved. Guess what? When that happens the shift needs to be more egalitarian rather than hypergamous.
English

@KLexJones @YoungGun8140 This is speaking to the wider conversation about these topics. This is why SOME women say money is the most important. It’s not superficial, it’s survival when it comes to her and her future children. Why be with or have children with a man who can’t provide?!

@TheCount721 @sanman64896464 @gregogallagher I’m saying I know you haven’t maintained intensity in your workout across your purported volume
English

@efrainob7 @sanman64896464 @gregogallagher So ur trying to say you can’t maintain intensity over your workout… comical! I’m a fireman and have 5 consecutive days off between tricks, 2hrs at the gym is standard with 1hr for weights n 1hr for cardio. The workout starts when the lifting ends my friend, better buckle up😉
English

After 2-4 hard sets on a muscle group. You’re done.
Additional sets for the same muscle group produce significantly less tension AND more fatigue, making them ineffective for growth.
A solid upper workout may look like
Chest press: 2-3 sets
Biceps curls: 2-3 sets
Triceps extensions: 2-3 sets
Lateral raises: 2-3 sets
Rows: 2-3 sets
It’s really that simple.
English

@TheCount721 @sanman64896464 @gregogallagher That means 24 sets a week for chest… at that high of a volume I know you have shitty intensity. Volume is a substitute for intensity and vice versa. Not to mention the fact that you’re in the gym an excessive amount of time which is not practical for most people
English

@efrainob7 @sanman64896464 @gregogallagher I’m firm believer in chest/tri, back/bi n legs/shoulders hitting each muscle 2x a week. Atleast 3 exercises each muscle(barbell, dumbbell n machine) with 4-5 sets of each exercise. My body wouldn’t respond well at all to just 2-3 sets
English

@gregogallagher Hmm. I look more Greek god than bodybuilder I think and I don’t hold back on those. 🤔 I just don’t overdo it
English

@dennisregalad0 @gregogallagher It’s called choose a different movement that hits the same muscle. Also progression doesn’t have to be weekly that’s an awfully constrained vision.
English

@gregogallagher How to break thru weighted pull-ups plateau? Stuck on 55lbs
English

@TheCount721 @sanman64896464 @gregogallagher Far easier to progressive overload at this volume, furthermore lack of volume means increase of intensity and vice versa. So which is more efficient. Assuming it’s a four day split you would have two uppers as well…
English

@sanman64896464 @gregogallagher If u ain’t working u ain’t gaining! Good luck making progress doing 2-3 sets per muscle
