But nah, most literature or movies that I have seen, has a plot and has some focal points. I don't think you would call "war and peace" or "One Hundred Years of Solitude" a genre action story.

Divorce, businessmen jockeying for position using blackmail, lead character's sanity, keeping a company afloat by any means necessary, starting a company from not quite the ground up, women finding success in a man's world
