FACEIT operates at very large scale, so cases are prioritised and reviewed over time rather than judged off a single report or viral post. We also take action in waves when new signals or detection methods are validated, which is why some bans appear later than others. We do use automation to flag suspicious accounts and automatically ban when the evidence is clear, but we do not ban on suspicion, account stats, or social media pressure alone. Fast progression, low hours, or unusual results are not enough by themselves to prove smurfing, account sharing, or cheating. Those cases need actual corroborated evidence, and improving collection of that evidence is exactly what we are continuing to build.

It more than obvious that FACEIT has problem with new accounts boosting pretty fast to higher elo. Cheating, smurfing, account sharing, etc. It's 2026 and it's pretty easy to make a system that would flag this. But they don't react, cause these accounts are paying for subscriptions. That's the whole point of a business, make a profit. You report trough their system, they say "no evidence", but if you expose and you get a lot of views on your post, then you will see a reaction and magically they find an evidence and they banned exposed player. We all know that you can't learn the game in 70 hours, it doesn't work like that, and admins also know that (I hope so). They can flag these accounts automatically, they can scan it, they can ban it easily, but it's not good for the pocket. Why they ban when you have a lot of views on your posts? Your posts affects their public image, people will stop buying subscription and a lot of people will be happy cause at least the "bad account'' is banned.
