You know why Socrates (arguably one of the greatest philosophers in history) hated DEMOCRACY. He argued that so called democracy lead to poor judgement in matters of governance. He had a theory, if you are sick, would you choose to vote for anyone you like to treat you?. No, you would let the most qualified to treat you. Or, would you let an unskilled mason to build your house? No. You would want a better foundation, so you would let the most skilled to do the work. For a doctor or a mason to be regarded as most qualified , he would be branded so by other skilled colleagues, not random people. He argued that people should be treated by their level of INTELLIGENCE, CAPABILITY, KNOWHOW, AND WISDOM. When you bring democracy to all people, that means you give equal power to different levels of minds. This means you give a stupid person same power to a wise person Or a mad person to a sane person. This alone would make the stupid people or mad people to vote for a mad stupid person to govern. Since this is the only person who can make them happy by telling them what to hear. He argued that people should not be allowed to vote for leadership, they are supposed to let the scholars choose the right most qualified one to govern. This would eliminate poor governance. Otherwise, GENERAL POPULATION WILL CHOOSE A COMEDIAN, A CROWD PLEASER, A CORRUPT , A STUPID, A GREEDY AND A CUNNING MIND TO GOVERN. Socrates was right, DEMOCRACY FAVOURS THE CELEBRITY OVER THE QUALIFIED PERSON. Hello later fell for a death sentence due to judgement given equal power to all people, who voted him to be executed, .. proving his theory even to the end.

@EmbaMexKen @DrAlfredMutua @ForeignOfficeKE Apparently if one wants to travel to Mexico from Kenya, they are required to have at least a balance of USD 11,000 in their Bank Account regardless of whether the trip is fully sponsored or not. How ridiculous!

@EmbaMexKen Very frustrating getting a Mexican Visa in your Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya. Emails are rarely replied to. A visit to the Embassy is met with a No-Entry if without appointment. Make your process Efficient or Shut down the Embassy. VERY DISGUSTING!
