@RyanShull1 See if that turbines inc meter head has analog outputs. You might be able to bring that into the VFD and set a setpoint on it to hold a flowrate. Some VFDs will allow you to shut down the pump after a while of not detecting a flowrate to save the pump. Good luck!

Automation vendor just dropped off mini pies at the field office. I am now feverishly working with Claude on a pitch to switch to them.

@wtxoil @WampumMining If it's just for snacks, just have them quote a "project" every month or so. I always ask my customers what they want. Some want Rosas, some want Donuts. 🤷‍♂️

@WampumMining @wtxoil Yes they will! And they will use "propietary" hardware at times and make it harder to replace or use another automation vendor.

@wtxoil Please don't do that. Bad decision to go with them. Their automation field techs are not field techs. Majoroty of them plug in a cable and have someone remote into their computer. All the good ones are gone. Their rates are high and charge more time than the task should take.

@RichOToole I am ok with it. If you saw my playlist, you would understand. Tacos go hard with Johnny Cash, Pantera, August Burns Red, and Cross Canadian Ragweed. And now have some ROT in there.

@Sarah4Texas @ZyroFoxtrot The problem is not with the law enforcement and BP. The problem is what occurs when a democrat president decides to make executive decisions to not allow BP to make arrests and to just open the gates. That's the problem.

@OverlyTrev I can drive anywhere from 280-600 miles in a day. As far as I am aware, there isn't an EV that can match the refuel/recharge speed of topping the energy back off after emptying it to finish out your daily drive on those longer routes. Yes I drive my personal vehicle for work.

Time to piss you off more. I ended up taking my GF's Kia so she could get gas after the movies, and guess what? It took exactly 8 minutes and cost her $40 🤣 We stopped to get “cheaper gas” at Sam’s (basically a Costco), which was also 5 minutes out of the way. Total extra time: 13 minutes 🕰️ Basically, 8 minutes is the average at the gas station, and yes—if we had taken my Tesla, I wouldn’t have had to stop because my car is at 73% from being charged earlier this week. I’ve still only spent $9 this month on fuel. As I said before, EVs can save you both time and money.

There is a huge misconception when people claim it only takes 5 minutes to fill up a gas tank versus charging an EV. Here are the key considerations: 1. The typical time spent at a gas pump is 8–9 minutes, but it varies: - Circle K: 8.9 minutes - Sheetz: 11.5 minutes - Wawa: 11.4 minutes - Buc-ee’s: 20.3 minutes 2. Filling up requires driving to the station, which can take 10–45 minutes depending on your location and the nearest station. 3. Oil changes and maintenance take time and money (even if you do them yourself, you still have to buy oil and perform the work). EVs eliminate this entirely. 4. Home charging takes seconds to plug in, and you wake up to a full charge the next day. 5. In March, I spent $9 on electricity while current gas prices are $3.49/gallon—a savings of over $60 in fuel for the month. 6. Adding up time and money saved over a year comes to roughly 15–30 hours and over $750, and I don’t even drive that much. EV’s save you time and money and once you have one you’ll never go back to gas.

@InvestingAddict I couldn't personally answer that question since I've never seen it but I've been told it's extremely exaggerated by others I work with. I can say, higher oil prices are good for the Permian and other areas. Us blue collar guys make more but there are ripple effects elsewhere.
