Microslop has made a huge U turn on copilot. Other AI companies take note. AI is "not for serious use" and is for "entertainment purposes only". So get AI out of our healthcare and civil service systems, out of our military.

I always have found this silly. If we have a confirmed date and time then the plans are on unless someone says otherwise. If you need additional confirmation, it should be on you to reach out and confirm to ease that anxiety. Why would you assume confirmed plans aren’t still on?

AI companies have NOT yet fixed AI sycophancy and 'hallucinations' in LLMs, both of which are incompatible with factuality, accuracy, reliability, and science.
This is one of the factors that makes me deeply skeptical of extreme productivity and "abundance" predictions.

Ridiculous problem: I am looking at my MBPro (often running CI tests and evals locally) all the time in cars, planes, and just waiting someplace I need an attachment to the bottom of the MBPro that deflects heat so my lap is not burned all the time. I don't want to carry a big lap desk, that's very awkward. Anyone know of a good solution? Anyone make a 3D printed option for this?
