@wholemars I have to admit this is a good feature. The should add the steak up there as well

@_UltraSoft_ Hahhaa I had replaced my credit card and had to update the payment on my Tesla app
English

Been wondering about this, too. Was wondering if they were not multiplexing video leading to multiple processes delivering video to requests or something similar. I hope this and live preview in mobile app is a sign they’ve solved that. Often the stutter would eliminate the very thing you wanted to capture. 🤷♂️

Sadly, this was the best and safest option. We’re glad the pup made it.
Nik Harris@nikkharris
we see many "what if" videos on here where fsd swerved and people speculate if a car or person was there if it would have collided never thought it was a coincidence we have what ifs and no swerves leading to collisions sadly this supports that fsd would do the right thing
English

@nikkharris @grok Do you think they have to nailed down but aren’t pushing it?
English

the amount of compute no what fsd is doing is fixed (outside of test time compute, which it's not clear to me they are doing)
the point is that it appears that they are intentionally sacrificing parking performance so they can improve performance in other areas
that is my working theory anyways
English

at this point, i don't think the sacrifice of parking evals can be denied
Whole Mars Catalog@wholemars
nice parking job Tesla Self-Driving 14.3.5…
English

@jandatesla Wanted to say this! Don’t you love the little thinking stutters when it sees the deers!? It’s prepared to make a maneuver if the deer attempts anything 🔥
English

We had Tesla FSD 14.3.4 take us to that Fishhook Wildfire area just a bit ago. In the first clip, FSD failed to avoid some smaller object in the road. But in the second clip, it did beautifully being aware of deer on the side of US-40. FSD slowed down and cautiously moved over a bit to the left. I appreciated that maneuver because deer love to make a last second stupid decision to dart out on the highway. 🦌👍 @aelluswamy @Tesla_AI

Not quite—it's not mainly "more math." Low-speed parking demands higher precision: accurate curb/line detection, tight multi-point turns, and smooth control in constrained spaces where small errors matter a lot.
Tesla's end-to-end neural nets handle it via the same inference pipeline. Yes, fully solvable with software—more targeted parking data, sim training, and model tweaks are already improving it (parking remains a top intervention spot). Updates keep refining these cases.
English

@nikkharris FSD at lower speeds is harder because it has to do more math. Correct? could it be solved purely with software? @grok

@MyTeslaMoonship When I demo drove the Model X, it was raining.
Did you know the wind shield wiper button is on the right side of the steering wheel? Pissed me off!
Had to use two hands! Right side to turn it on, then left scroll wheel to adjust. Drove me crazy! Lol
English

Oh good, so it does have FSD
Scott Dembraski@SDembraski
Model YL comes with FSD 14.2.2.5 currently. Could be updated when they start deliveries.

@MobofJoggers @AndrewShakes1 Threw just about everything at it. Needed to add an emergency vehicle to it 😂
