Ferrari has just officially unveiled its first ever all-electric car, called the Ferrari Luce.
• Starting price: $640,000
• Interior co-designed with Apple's former head of design, Jony Ive
• Range: 280 miles (expected EPA)
• Peak charging speed: 350kW
• 122 kWh battery
• 1,050 horsepower
• 0-60mph: 2.4s
• 800v
• Four-door four-seater
• Four electric motors
• OLED screens
• Weight: 4,982 lbs
• Front motors spin to 30,000 rpm, rears hit 25,500 rpm
• Car uses an accelerometer to capture real vibrations from the electric motors & rear chassis. An algorithm filters out unpleasant frequencies and amplifies only the more “musical” sounds. This can be heard inside and outside the car.
• Paddle shifter on steering wheel changes how aggressively torque is delivered, with five different levels
• The trunk has 21.1 cubic feet of space, the largest luggage capacity the company has ever offered
• 197.6 inches long, about as long as a Tesla Model S
U.S. deliveries start in Q2 2027. More photos in the thread below:

@elis @fsdtester I was doing the speed limit earlier and rolled across a trooper at the state line and it slowed down to like 3 under lol.

Working on Full Self-Driving reminds me that AI’s sole purpose is to keep humanity safe from harm, and we are here to serve.
I have never considered working in an AI lab that treats itself as far superior to the rest of humanity.
My joy is ensuring my kid enjoys the products we created with sweat and love, so I can depart this world in peace once my mission ends.

@TeslaXplored Curious does your car have a front bumper camera? I guess it doesn’t matter because someone else had it back into one 🤔
English

@SunflowerEvryDy Nah this is just one of many instances. I’m on a long roadtrip across the country and there has been several times I look up because it slowed down and then I spy a cop ahead. It’s amazing

@scotsrule08 @DavidMoss @DevinOlsenn I’m dying at how committed you are to to not disengaging hahahah that extra long wire has been cracking up

We found a hotel with a destination charger, and we’re going to get a few hours of sleep before continuing the Canadian coast-to-coast journey in the morning.
So far, zero disengagements or interventions. 🫡

@alexdatig Way isn’t there a law against storage of hazardous chemicals and n a residential area.

@toe_turkey @TheCaptainEli @Tesla Interesting. maybe. I just want to know if someone tried to get into the car while I am sleeping

Very small feedback for Tesla:
I’ve been living in my Tesla for two weeks now, and every single day I fall in love with the car and the company all over again.
The technology and the level of control through the app are simply unmatched — no other company in the world offers anything close to this. If I had to choose again, I’d pick the Model Y over and over and over.
That said, here’s some quick feedback:
It would be amazing if we could completely turn off the rear screen, not just lock it. Even when locked, it still generates heat, and I often have to put a towel over the center armrest when I’m working from the car.
The climate preservation modes (Camp, Keep, etc.) are fantastic features, but it would be really useful if we could choose between automatic and manual operation ourselves — and have the car remember our preference. Being able to adjust the fan directly through the app would make it even better.
One more small thing regarding driver seat memory:
In Camp mode, most of us move the seats forward to inflate the mattress (we even create a dedicated driver profile named “Camp” to make seat adjustment easier). However, opening the driver’s door sometimes triggers the Easy Entry memory setting (when it’s enabled), which automatically slides the seats back and requires manual readjustment. It would be great if this could be smarter in Camp mode.

@startup_an_tech Much of the software I wrote for FSD v14.3.3 was done with Grok Build.
I don’t vibe coding.

Grok Build sub-agent swarm weekend fun. You can reuse the prompt for your projects:
Read the proof of `cdn.openai.com/pdf/74c24085-1…` and come up with a few different examples with more points:
a) Please understand the proof
b) Come up with plan
c) Orchestrate and launch sub-agent to execute the plan step-by-step
d) Validate the results from the sub-agent, and correct them
e) Repeat b, c, d, until you are happy with the result and its correctness
DO NOT stop until the goal is reach

@josesaezmerino @iSpitRealShyt I was promised Apple Intelligence on my iphone 16 that’s why I bought it, yet I still don’t have it. I’m going to sue Apple 😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲 see how dumb you sound
English

@iSpitRealShyt Why should I? I was promised full FSD or whatever hardware necessary for my car when I got it.

@OutofSpecDetail @Starlink On the newer models you have to mount them on trunk window because there’s some protection that prevents starlink from connecting to the satellites on the glass roof now🙂↔️

Best of luck to these three on their Canadian coast to coast trip!
