Are babies and relationships measured on the same time scale? After 18-24 months you start measuring in years.

Trying a new flow this week: 1. Iterate super-fast, right on the edge of sanity, ignoring the code, until I hit a prototype I like 2. Pull it back into huge testable units via /improve-codebase-architecture Let's see if I can polish the vibe coded turd

I get 4,150,000,000 (4 billion) requests and 300,000,000 (300 million) visitors per year That'd cost me $338,913 if I wasn't on a VPS like @brian_lovin below Instead I pay $2,932/year or 115x less because I host my sites on my own VPS My VPS servers are way too big and usually

One thing thing about AI, for better and worse, is that "everything around me is somebody's life work" is no longer a true assumption going forward.

Every time I see a tweet saying “I can vibe code this in a weekend” - I think of the slack notification system.. It takes time, persistence and effort to get the details right. Sure, a lot of simple workflows will get vibe coded away. And maybe you can put this in Claude Code

I've found myself writing: "I don't know this area of code well. Go up a layer of abstraction. Give me a map of all the relevant modules and callers." Might need a new skill here. What should I name it?

The more enterprises I talk to about AI agent transformation, the more it’s clear that there is going to be a new type of role in most enterprises going forward. The job is to be the agent deployer and manager in teams. Here’s the rough JD: This person will need to figure out

People ask me how I choose what model to route queries to. It's simple. Claude gets knowledge work anything below that would be degrading Claude equivalent to having John von Neumann clean my toilet

it’s def crazy expensive to run but more ppl should use it. they should open it up for like a week with some strict-ish limits, just for ppl to see how good it is it’s an amazing deep planning model and understanding across domains model and also a good for a night-time Hail Mary before sleeping

ok I know we’re all hype + angry + skeptical about new Mythbro model but have we all tried gpt 5.4 pro? it’s wicked good, I think most ppl haven’t used it bc it’s on OAI pro plan and API cost is 30/180 😭 is slow, incredibly smart, nothing rlly like it, spends a ton of inference compute and will solve hard problems other models fail at

You have no experience. You’ve never started a company. You’ve never had a full time job. Nike is going to kill you. You’re a kid. You don’t have technical skills. You shouldn’t build hardware. Apple is going to kill you. You can’t build hardware. You can’t measure heart

The Model-Harness Training Loop imo every great team in the world will use some version of this loop to build the best agents for their tasks this is now possible because: 1. Harness Engineering is becoming more democratized and accessible (we want it to be even easier) 2. Open
