So apparently, keeping your physical SIM card is not enough again. My friend relocated to the UK but still had her Nigerian SIM with her. Unknown to her, the line had been inactive for too long, so the network reassigned the number to someone else. Meanwhile, that same number was still linked to her bank account. The new owner first did a “test run” by buying ₦100 airtime from the account. It worked. Then ₦5k. ₦10k. Before she woke up to multiple debit alerts. What even scared me more was that the person also tried accessing her WhatsApp because they now officially owned the number. A lot of people abroad still think that as long as they physically have their SIM card, the number is safe. Apparently not. Please, if your number is linked to your bank account, BVN, WhatsApp, email, or anything important, don’t abandon it for months or years without activity. This thing is actually scary.

I accompanied my client to the EFCC for an interrogation regarding a white-collar investigation. During the interrogation, the EFCC officer asked my client, "why don't you have a SCMUL certificate?" I responded that under the Money Laundering Act, they are not required to obtain one. EFCC officer: Why are you responding on behalf of your client? ... Come here and let me educate you!!! I started feeling pains in my head.

Where is it stated in ACJA that I cannot respond to a question on an issue of law on behalf of my client. Section 17 of ACJA, which the police probably referred you to, states that I am not to interfere when my client is making a statement EXCEPT for the purpose of discharging my role as a legal practitioner. Did I state in my tweet that my client was making a statement under caution? Even if he was, the ACJA you referred to does not prohibit me from guiding the EFCC officer, who clearly hasn't read the law. It would interest you to note that they didn't raise the issue again after I was done with them. Are you a lawyer?

Have you ever Seen “Car Parked At Owner’s Risk” and wondered if the Law truly protects them? You see that sign almost everywhere today in banks, hotels, Churches, Malls, and Event centres. But here is the real legal question: If your car gets stolen or damaged inside that premises, can the owner simply point to the signboard and walk away from responsibility? The law does NOT automatically excuse them just because they wrote “Park At Owner’s Risk” on a board. In law, courts look beyond paint on cardboard. They look at FACTS. Once a premises begins to control parking by: ✔️ Issuing parking tickets ✔️ Employing security guards ✔️ Installing CCTV cameras ✔️ Controlling entry and exit ✔️ Collecting your car keys The law may consider that they have assumed a DUTY OF CARE over your vehicle and once a duty of care exists, negligence can create liability. Under the famous case of Donoghue v Stevenson, anyone who owes you a duty of care must act reasonably to prevent foreseeable h@rm. So if a hotel, bank, or mall creates the impression that your car is secure, the court may ask: ✔️ Did they provide reasonable security? ✔️ Was there negligence? ✔️ Could the theft or damage have been prevented? ✔️ Did they fail in their duty? Even Section 169 of the Evidence Act, 2011 may prevent a premises owner from denying responsibility after making customers believe their vehicles were safe there. This is why courts do not blindly worship warning signs. A signboard is not stronger than evidence. “Park At Owner’s Risk” is a warning. It is not automatic immunity from liability. Because in law, liability is not decided by what is written on a board. It is decided by: 🥢 Duty. 🥢 Breach. 🥢 Negligence and 🥢 Evidence. Now tell me did you know this before now? ©️Confidence Aribibia

you people joke about mold on the wall like it’s just an ugly stain but forget those black patches are literally living spores spreading through the air you breathe. something that triggers coughing, allergies, chest and respiratory tract problems, headaches, skin irritation and for some people, serious breathing issues. the scary part is you can repaint the wall and hide the evidence but you’re still sleeping beside something slowly poisoning the air in your own home. most of the time, the most dangerous thing in a house isn’t a thief outside, it’s the wall beside your bed.

In 1992, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso was serving as the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Nigeria. During that period, he brought along a 29-year-old young man who had worked under him in the Water Resources Department during the 1980s, and appointed him as his Personal Assistant (P.A). In 1999, after Kwankwaso had continued his political struggle since 1992, that same young man had returned to work in the Water Resources sector. Unexpectedly, Kwankwaso won the governorship election in Kano State, and once again he sought out the young man and reappointed him as his P.A, this time as the Personal Assistant to the Governor. In 2003, after Kwankwaso lost his re-election bid, the Federal Government appointed him as Nigeria’s Minister of Defence. Kwankwaso still did not abandon the young man; instead, he took him along to Abuja and appointed him as his Special Assistant (S.A). In 2007, after Kwankwaso left the Ministry of Defence, Olusegun Obasanjo appointed him as Special Envoy to Somalia and Darfur. Again, Kwankwaso continued to move with the young man as his close aide and trusted right-hand man. In 2009, under the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Umaru Musa Yar'Adua appointed Kwankwaso as the representative of the North-West region. Kwankwaso once again continued working closely with the young man as his right-hand man. In that same year, Kwankwaso secured a federal appointment for him, and fortunately, the late Yar’Adua appointed him as the Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Institute for Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), Ondo State. In 2011, Kwankwaso returned and became Governor of Kano State for the second time. Once again, he brought back the young man and handed him the position of Commissioner in one of the major ministries. In 2019, after Kwankwaso completed his tenure as governor in 2015, the young man had stepped back from politics until 2018, when Kwankwaso brought him forward again and declared that he would contest for governor under the People's Democratic Party (PDP). This decision caused Kwankwaso to lose some allies and supporters, as many believed he had chosen someone who was not experienced or capable enough. The election was conducted, victory was initially declared, then it was announced as inconclusive, and eventually Abdullahi Umar Ganduje retained his seat. In 2023, Kwankwaso once again brought forward the same young man and insisted that he would be the candidate. Due to the lack of a solid political structure within the PDP to support him, Kwankwaso left the party and joined a relatively small and lesser-known party called the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), together with his supporters. He once again ensured that the young man secured the ticket. The election was held, victory was achieved, and the young man eventually became the Governor of Kano State. History can be inspiring to hear. However, sadly, after this young man became governor, within just two years the story began to take a different and unpleasant turn from the end of 2025 into 2026.

A dirty engine is better than a dead one that is sparkling clean, which you killed by simply jet washing it. Every weekend, people drive to roadside washing bays and ask the kanaabe to make the engine as clean as possible and watch the guy blast the engine bay with a high-pressure jet like it is a tyre. The owner feels proud. The damage is already done and it will not announce itself for almost two weeks at times. Here is what that water actually reaches. The ECU connectors. The alternator. The crankshaft and camshaft sensors. The ignition coils sitting down in the spark plug wells. The fuse and relay box. None of these were built to take a focused jet of pressurised water. They tolerate rain and road splash. They do not tolerate a nozzle aimed straight at them. The failure is rarely instant. That is exactly what makes it expensive. Water settles in a connector, corrodes the pins over the next few days and then the car starts throwing faults that move around. A misfire that comes and goes. A no-start that clears after fifteen minutes. A check engine light that means something different every scan. The mechanic chases sensors one by one because intermittent water damage does not point at itself. By the time it is traced to a corroded ECU connector, you have paid for diagnostics, guessed parts and possibly an ECU that runs into millions on a common Japanese car. Now the part that matters is if you are buying. A spotless engine bay at a bond is not proof of a well maintained car. It is a question. Either it was just jet washed, which means the electronics may already be compromised and you inherit it. Or it was degreased specifically to hide an oil leak before your test drive, so the seep that should have warned you has been wiped away. A genuinely well kept car usually has an engine bay that is dusty but dry. You can clean it properly or do not clean it at all. When the engine is cool. Sensitive components covered. Degreaser and a soft brush. Low pressure rinse, never a jet. Or simply leave it. A film of dust never stopped an engine. A jet of water has ended thousands. If you are inspecting a car and the engine bay looks too clean for the mileage, that is the exact moment to slow down and get a second pair of eyes on it before you pay. That part I can help with. DM me Have you ever jet washed your engine? Tell us how it went down...

A lot of people install car trackers but don’t use them fully. Once you get to your destination, shut the car down from your tracker. When you’re ready to leave, turn it back on. Simple habit, but it can save your car from theft. Use your tracker wisely.

🗣️Exciting News‼️😀 The Bible tells you that there will be a generation of Christians who will not die physically. It is the described in the Bible as “caught up”, or else known as the rapture of the Church . The apostle Paul, who was chosen by God and led by the Spirit of God, tells you this: In 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17, the Apostle tells us that Jesus Christ himself will come down from Heaven, and shout a command along with the archangel’s voice. God’ trumpet will sound out and all the dead in Christ will rise again! All believers on the earth at the time will be simultaneously caught up to the air, meeting up with believers and seeing the Lord Jesus, who will take us to Heaven.

How to get a Certificate of Occupancy in Nigeria. Step by step. What it costs. Who to contact. No agent needed. Let me tell you something that will shock you. The government has the authority to seize any plot of land or property lacking a Certificate of Occupancy at any time — without compensating the owner. That land you bought. That house you built. Without a C of O — it can be taken from you legally. And you get nothing. Here is exactly how to protect yourself. What Is A C of O? A Certificate of Occupancy is the legal document issued by the state government confirming your right to use and occupy land for 99 years. It is backed by the Land Use Act 1978 which transferred ownership of all land to state governors on behalf of the people. Without it — your land has no legal identity. Step 1 — Get A Registered Survey Plan Hire a licensed surveyor to prepare your survey plan. Submit it to the Surveyor General’s Office for charting — to confirm your land is free from government acquisition. This step alone saves you from building on acquired land. Many Nigerians skip it. Most regret it. Step 2 — Visit The Land Bureau Visit the State Land Bureau — Alausa in Lagos, Area 11 in Abuja. Collect the application form, fill in your details and attach your required documents. Required documents across most states: * Registered survey plan. * Deed of Assignment or title document. * Tax clearance certificate. * Passport photographs. * Means of identification. Step 3 — Pay Your Fees Fees in Lagos range from ₦100,000 to ₦300,000 for residential lands depending on size and location. Additional costs include survey fees and processing fees. Pay all fees directly into government accounts. Never pay cash to individuals. That is how fake C of O documents are born. Step 4 — Government Inspection After document verification the government sends officials to inspect the land — to ensure it is being used for the intended purpose and falls within permissible zones. Be present during inspection. Keep records of who came and when. Step 5 — Collect Your C of O Once approved the Certificate of Occupancy is printed and issued to the landowner. This process can take between three months to two years depending on the state and how efficient their Land Registry is. Lagos and Abuja have more efficient systems. Follow up regularly. Files go missing when owners are absent. Why This Changes Everything A 600 square metre plot without a C of O may sell for ₦3 million. The same plot with a C of O may sell for ₦5 million. That document does not just protect your land. It multiplies its value. Most banks and financial institutions require a C of O before accepting your property as collateral for loans. No C of O. No loan. No leverage. No financial power. The Warning Some agents claim they can fast track your C of O. Many are scammers. Always pay fees directly into government accounts. If anyone asks you to pay cash into a personal account for a C of O — walk away immediately. Your land is your wealth. Protect it with the document the law recognises. © Damian Dondo

If you attend many of these big churches in Lagos, be very careful what you consume from the pulpit this period, because I genuinely think a memo has been sent to many of them. The patterns are becoming too loud to ignore. Most of the topics, sermons, statements, and even program themes I’ve been seeing from some of these big churches are psychologically constructed to make Nigerians emotionally withdraw from voting and accepting change as impossible. Some weeks ago, it was Pastor Adeboye telling people that the next president has already been chosen by God. Now it is Matthew Ashimolowo saying Peter Obi is the best candidate, but he won’t win. Then another popular Lagos church is running with a program theme talking about “Jesus being the best political cover.” And there are many more subtle messages like that flying around. This is becoming too coordinated to be random. The timing. The location. The pastors involved. The exact emotional direction of the messaging. This is psychological manipulation, and many Nigerians are not catching it. Because APC knows something very important. They know they no longer have anything tangible to sell Nigerians again. Fuel is expensive. Food is expensive. Electricity is expensive. School fees are expensive. Businesses are collapsing. The naira has been battered. People are suffering visibly. So what do you do when performance can no longer convince the people? You start targeting their psychology. You start targeting hope. You start targeting morale. You start making people feel like resistance is pointless. That is the new strategy. And religion is one of the easiest vehicles to use because many Nigerians trust pastors more than they trust facts. Notice the pattern carefully. These pastors will subtly admit that Peter Obi or the Obi/Kwankwaso movement represents competence or better leadership, but immediately after saying that, they will emotionally conclude with: “But he cannot win.” “God has already chosen.” “Jesus is the answer.” “Focus on heaven.” Do you people not see the psychological game being played there? It is not direct support for APC. It is emotional demobilization. It is convincing Nigerians not to bother participating. It is making people subconsciously feel their votes do not matter. Because once people lose hope psychologically, the battle is already halfway won politically. And sadly, many of these pastors know exactly what they are doing because they understand how emotionally dependent many Nigerians are on religious authority. They know many church members will never question anything coming from the altar. That is why you must use your brain this period. God is supreme. Jesus is King. Nobody is arguing that. But God has also given human beings free will. The same Bible is full of people making choices and living with the consequences of those choices. Nigeria today is the result of choices. Bad leadership is the result of choices. Corruption is the result of choices. Silence is the result of choices. And better leadership will also come from choices. God will not come down from heaven to thumbprint ballot papers. Nigerians will. So when someone tells you “the next president has already been chosen,” ask yourself: Why then are politicians campaigning? Why are billions being spent on elections? Why are parties fighting desperately for power? Why are propaganda machines working overtime? Why are pastors suddenly sounding like political analysts? Because they know votes matter. And they know people matter. That is why APC and its supporters are now focusing heavily on psychological warfare. They know they cannot easily defend the suffering Nigerians are facing. So the next best thing is to make Nigerians mentally surrender before 2027 even arrives. That is why you must stay alert. Pray, yes. Trust God, yes. But also think critically. Because faith without wisdom is how manipulators control people.
