I will forever think of this TikTok when I’m watching an award show 😭😭

This is Kelsey, a 5-year old Golden Retriever. On New Year's Eve, Kelsey's owner Bob went outside to collect some fire logs, but he fell on the ice and broke his neck. He was paralyzed and nobody could hear him, but Kelsey came running immediately. When Kelsey realized he couldn't move, she spread herself out across his body to keep him warm. She stayed there for 20 hours, in frigid temperatures, and kept licking his face to ensure he didn't lose consciousness. She kept barking for help the entire time. When doctors eventually found Bob, they rushed him to hospital with hypothermia, atrial fibrillation, and two herniated discs which were causing his paralysis. Amazingly, he had no frostbite. Doctors say it's because Kelsey kept him warm the entire time. Kelsey is a good girl. 14/10

Just so we are all clear based on the data from the referendum Australia’s Indigenous & First Nation people overwhelmingly wanted the Voice. Recognition in our Constitution & and an advisory committee. That was all. And we couldn’t even do that. 😔

Remember this is Blackfullas’ collective Voice, not Labors. It should live on beyond current governments. Vote Yes.

every so often it hits me just how modest the referendum ask is. all we are being asked is whether to recognise our first peoples and give them a voice that can’t be taken away. so simple. it’s so easy to say yes… and so heartbreaking if we say no. #VoteYes

Speaking to my mum last night. She’s 83. This is her certificate of citizenship. She scrubbed floors and worked stations for no wage: just room and board. All for a better life for us kids She walks around the Pilbara with her Yes shirt. Not one of her non Indigenous “friends” are voting yes. When they ask her why-she says this: “Our entire lives all we have heard is “no” Before I die; I want to hear Yes. It means that much-and I cannot argue with that ❤️🖤💛
