The Dutch rule is not selective but automatic for dual citizens only who have spent 13 years abroad without renewing their Dutch passport, which they should do anyway since it expires after 10 years.

@NatCon2022 @DonaldBestCA The Netherlands has been doing this routinely to Dutch citizens who spend “too much time abroad” even if they represent Dutch interests. At least the Dutch government has enough balls to do it themselves rather than outsourcing the job to a Pakistani.

‼️Physical, real-world oil prices are surging even as futures fall: Dated Brent, the benchmark used to price most of the world’s seaborne crude, ended Monday’s session higher. This comes despite falling WTI crude and Brent futures prices. Because it reflects the cost of real, immediately deliverable barrels, it is the MOST IMPORTANT indicator of how tight the physical oil market is right now. Dated Brent prices have more than DOUBLED since the beginning of the year. The energy crisis is nowhere near the end.
