NASA posted an ARTEMIS II crew photograph that I think is one of the best I have seen. This is the continent of Antarctica.
The area around the continent is clear. This is the Southern Ocean that circles Antarctica. The cold air and water tend to rob the moisture in the air. No clouds.
In the middle left of the photo is the Antarctica Peninsula.
To the left of the peninsula is Tierra del Fuego. Continuing up the upper left of the photo is the Atlantic coast of South America.
The land mass in the lower right is probably New Zealand.

REWARD INCREASED: Ksh 15,000 HELP US FIND THIS DANGEROUS ROBBER
This suspect was caught on camera robbing a woman. The evidence is clear. Our communities cannot become safe havens for people who prey on the vulnerable.
We have increased the reward to Ksh 15,000 for credible information that leads to his arrest.
We are prepared to travel anywhere in Kenya to support lawful efforts that bring him to justice. If you recognize him or know where he may be hiding, report immediately we will. Protect your identity and any information shared is private & confidential.
Do NOT attempt to confront or apprehend him yourself. Unless you're in a group.
Share widely. Tag authorities. Keep this visible.
Criminals move when they think people are silent.
Justice moves when citizens refuse to look away.
Kibra, Dandora, Mathare, Korogocho, Babadogo, Lucky Summer, Huruma, Kayole someone knows something. Help us weed out this crook.

About two weeks ago I had an errand to run. Had run out of cash. I took a stima sacco mobile loan. Planned to repay in about two weeks. I was given a loan of 15000, I withdrew about 14800, and the balance in account is 30s.
Now I want to pay back the loan, I am required to pay a total of 16050. That is more than 1200 interest for a two week loan. Predatory lending in my books. I should get myself off that sacco.

Dear Githinji, your time is coming when you will be held accountable to everything you have done and said. It's good that your true colors are finally out as far as Baba Was concerned. This has really made me very angry, sad and pained. I wish Baba knew just how low he sunk when he made a deal with the Spawn of satan himself.
Baba we told you, but you never heard our voices 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Anybody from Eldoret Law Court identify that rogue police officer assaulting this lady. We need his full name, station, and badge number.
To the lady please share your contact information so we can pursue legal action against this brute in uniform.
The law is crystal clear: only female officers are permitted to handle, arrest, or frisk female suspects. What happened here isn’t law enforcement it’s barbarism, abuse of power, and a total disgrace to the badge.
Beating a woman isn’t courage. It’s cowardice, indiscipline, and criminal assault disguised as authority. That officer doesn’t represent the police he represents rot, arrogance, and moral decay in uniform.
We won’t stay silent. We’ll make sure he’s exposed, prosecuted, and stripped of the very uniform he’s bringing to shame.

‼️🚨ALERT - TUNDU LISSU🚨‼️
Information just received: Tundu Lissu has been isolated in the Death Row wing and a CCTV camera is fixed on his cell 24/7 in Ukonga prison! Highly unusual and supicious move as they can monitor him / zero privacy while there are no witnesses and they can do anything and cover up! This is dangerous!
Haikubaliki!
Nashauri mawakili mchukue hatua haraka sana kuhakikisha Lissu hayuko isolated kama mmeamua kumweka ndani! Na kamera itolewe hapo apate faragha! Hatutakubali chochote kimtokee mje na maelezo yoyote!

KOIGI WA WAMWERE. THE MAN WHO REFUSED TO DIE;
Today on rewriting history, I'll share with you about a man rarely talked about in the history of Kenya’s 2nd Liberation. A man detained And tortured like no other.
Koigi wa Wamwere’s life reads like a long letter of courage, resilience, and unbroken spirit. Born in 1949 in Nakuru, he grew up seeing the injustices of colonial land policies and came to believe that independence without true freedom was an illusion. From his early political days, Koigi chose the hard road, standing up to power, demanding justice, and speaking truth when silence was safer.
As a young MP for Nakuru North in 1979, he quickly became one of Kenya’s boldest voices against corruption, tribal politics, and dictatorship. He wasn’t afraid to question presidents, challenge land injustices, and demand democracy at a time when such words could cost you your freedom, or your life. His story is one of Kenya’s true second liberators.
But courage came at a heavy price. On 9th August 1975, Koigi was arrested and detained without trial under Jomo Kenyatta’s government. He spent over three years in detention, only to be released on 12th December 1978, the day Kenya celebrated independence, ironically without freedom for one of its bravest sons.
Barely four years later, on 5th August 1982, he was arrested again, this time by the Moi regime, and detained until 12th December 1984. His only crime, refusing to be silenced.
In October 1990, Koigi was taken to the infamous Nyayo House torture chambers, where he was held for 11 days (8th–19th October). He was stripped naked, beaten, starved, and locked in cold, flooded cells,an attempt to break his body and spirit. He survived.
From there, he was moved to Kamiti Maximum Prison, where he spent over two years (October 1990-January 1993) in harsh, inhumane conditions among death row inmates. But even behind bars, his pen spoke,he continued to write, to dream, and to believe in a freer Kenya.
Then came another dark chapter. In November 1993, Koigi was arrested again, this time falsely accused of robbery with violence,a charge many believed was politically motivated. In 1995, he was sentenced to four years in prison and six strokes of the cane. The world watched in disbelief as Kenya whipped its conscience. He was finally released on 13th December 1996 after sustained international pressure.
Koigi’s body bears the scars of that fight. His health deteriorated, his family suffered, but his faith in justice never died. In 2015, after decades of struggle, Kenya’s Court of Appeal awarded him KSh 12 million in compensation for the torture and inhuman treatment he endured under both the Kenyatta and Moi regimes, a symbolic victory for truth and justice.
Today, Koigi wa Wamwere stands as a living reminder that freedom is never given; it is fought for. He refused to bow, refused to run, and refused to die, choosing instead to keep the fire of democracy burning for future generations.
History may favour the Elites, but we will rewrite it and appreciate the real Heroes of our freedoms.
