@aarnott It never seems to work for me. I just want an instant and simple search on file names.

Does Windows 11's Search feature in File Explorer ever work? I never get any results, fast or otherwise. These are files that ought to be very easy to find (e.g. they're on OneDrive and already indexed).

.NET 10 reduces IEnumerable 'penalty' from 83% to 10% I posted recently how the compiler team are looking to reduce what's known as the abstraction penalty in #dotnet 10. It looks like things are progressing well so far. I ran the below benchmark (code snippet in 2nd tweet) off main yesterday. In .NET 9 the cost of looping through an array via IEnumerable was 83% over directly iterating the array, whereas in .NET 10 the cost was only 10% 👏🏻

seemingly somewhat lost in the noise of today: on many coding tasks, o3-mini will outperform o1 at a massive cost reduction! i expect this trend to continue, but also that the ability to get marginally more performance for exponentially more money will be really strange.

The IEnumerable Visualizer has been enhanced with IntelliSense, providing real-time code suggestions and autocompletion, which makes writing LINQ expressions faster and more accurate. Coming soon to Visual Studio...

Anyone use @namecheap with website redirects? Trying to get pilchie-dot-dev and pilchie-dot-net to redirect to pilchie.com, but they don't seem to work. Configured the same, but .net says no GH pages there, and .dev doesn't respond?
