This is the new Windows 11 Search experience without clutter and ads! Microsoft is letting you turn off Bing/web integration, remove ads, and all unnecessary features to create a clean Search experience on Windows 11. The home screen is calmer, promotional content is gone from web results, and search now labels results more clearly as app, setting, file, web, or Store. Local files, apps, and settings are prioritized when they are the better match. And most importantly -- you can now control whether web and Microsoft Store results appear at all!! That means you can finally stop Windows Search from acting like a Bing launcher when you’re just trying to find something on your own PC. Microsoft is also improving typo handling for apps, two-character file searches, settings ranking, cloud file discovery, and crash reliability. Windows is so back! 🥳

Had a breakthrough over lunch with another Copilot-led hardware hacking project. Going to keep this one under wraps a bit longer (still a few more components to wire in).

Nifty little weekend project with GitHub Copilot app - I revived a long defunct OSS hardware project (Tessel2), got the toolchain to work on Windows, then built a Canvas to work with the device while pairing with Copilot. Next to see if I can update the OpenWRT version it runs

@craigaloewen Found the root cause - hostRequirements The devcontainer I was using sets an 8gb memory requirement which must mean it wants something from wslc to verify it meets that.
