This is next level 🤯 Google Drive scanner feels insanely fast. The UX actually looks clean and super intuitive. I’m genuinely enjoying how this thing works

⚠️ Been thinking about the AIs increased power consumption. Aaand...its OK? 🤷‍♂️ 🪐 What I mean is, if we as a society are theoretically expected to reach the next level on Kardashev scale, aren't we supposed to have the big NEED for more power in order to figure out how to do it more cleanly and in greater amounts? Quite possible I am only saying this to excuse myself for using AI on a daily basis, but I really do HOPE that the momentary consequences of it, are just that....momentary. Human race should not be THAT dumb as to continue the same route until we burn the planet to a crisp and only then consider alternatives. Then again, there is history of such behavior. oh boy.

@emin_ui My old monitors were starting to show their age. Some plasticky ASUS gaming monitors I bought back in 2017. Literally had no choice ;) The code _does_ look alive but I'm 0.5x as productive because my eyes glaze over and I start drooling every 30 seconds.

After 5 months of going to the gym, I can finally see some visual progress that I'm proud of. 😁 These two photos are from 2 running competitions. One from 2024, and the other one from 2 days ago. I'm still 10kg+ overweight (working on losing that), but at least I have some visible upper body muscle now (and no braces lol)🤭

Who else speeds up the cursor movement when moving one window to a different monitor? Like trying to hop over really fast so you don't fall in between 😂

Coding is therapeutic for me. I thoroughly enjoy optimizing, modularizing, and architecting parts of my app. However, AI somewhat diminishes that. Am I the only one who feels writing code can sometimes be like art?

Could it be that the initial link for password change was the scammy one? so they got in by sending a believable email with "click here if this is not you"? I know deed i s already done, but wondering if it might help others in the future. I really do hope you get the account back Paul, this is a nightmare.

@seraleev Sure did. Only way to start the day. My yearly tradition is to secretly buy the flowers the night before and my wife gets surprised whenever I do it. I think she is just playing that she did not notice I went out 😂 Got some flowers for the little one as well :)

After thinking about it so much, I quit my job. I got a plane ticket to Vietnam to pursue my dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur. Currently I'm living off savings, coding 12 hours a day, and I know one day it will be worth it. Wish me luck.
