⚡️Every single point is correct within the physics we currently understand. And that qualifier is doing all the work. This is a perfect example of a very smart person making the most common mistake in the history of human forecasting. Projecting current constraints forward as permanent laws. Every generation does this. Lord Kelvin proved heavier than air flight was impossible. Astronomers proved breaking the sound barrier would destroy any aircraft. Physicists proved atomic energy could never be harnessed practically. The math was right every time. The assumption that the math was complete was wrong every time. Susskind is one of the greatest living physicists. He understands the constraints better than almost anyone alive. And that is precisely what makes him the wrong person to ask this question. Expertise in current physics creates a deep structural bias toward assuming current physics is final. The Tsiolkovsky rocket equation is real. It governs chemical and fusion propulsion absolutely. It says nothing about propulsion methods that don’t exist yet. The history of physics is a history of walls that turned out to be doors. Newtonian mechanics was complete until it wasn’t. Classical electromagnetism was complete until it wasn’t. The standard model is complete until it won’t be. Every framework that felt like the final answer eventually revealed itself as a special case of something larger. There is no reason to believe our current understanding of energy, spacetime, and propulsion is the exception to this pattern. There is every reason to believe it isn’t. The interstellar dust problem, the radiation problem, the energy problem. All real. All unsolved. All framed as permanent by someone standing inside a physics paradigm that is maybe 120 years old on a planet that is 4.5 billion years old in a universe that is 13.8 billion years old. The confidence that we have discovered the final constraints on travel through spacetime after studying it for a cosmic eyeblink is the most remarkable act of faith in the entire post. And it’s disguised as skepticism. Two days ago four humans broke a distance record that stood for 56 years. The species keeps going further. The timeline is never what the physicists predict. The method is never what anyone expects.

We're not going to travel beyond the solar system, according to Leonard Susskind. And neither are aliens, coming to visit us. We may not be alone, but we are stuck here for, essentially forever. 1. The nearest star is 4.24 light years away. The fastest spacecraft ever built would require 6,600 years to get there. 2. Surely we can just build faster spacecraft. The problem is to get to anywhere close to the speed of light, we need exponentially more energy. 3. Chemical rockets will just not work. Even fusion rockets won't work. Even 10% of the speed of light is not achievable. The Tsiolkovsky Rocket Equation prevents it. 4. Interstellar dust becomes hand grenades when traveling anywhere close to the speed of light. Ships break. 5. Space radiation will kill us over the time need to travel interstellar distances. Impossible to protect without massive shields, which require massive energy to accelerate and de-accelerate.

NASA’s Artemis II livestream really makes you appreciate @SpaceX’s launch broadcasts. Bad camera tracking, no onboard cameras, countdown timer disappeared, NASA even showed people in the crowd instead of stage separation lol. The screen also blacked out twice during the first 10 seconds of the launch.

Canada is enjoying their diversity as they decline into a 3rd world country. Canada literally has the worst economic performance of any developed country since Trudeau was elected. Carney has changed nothing, same policies. Most of the talented White Canadians are trying to move to the USA. They have given up on Canada. It is estimated that 40% of the top 1% have left Canada. They are being replaced by 3rd world migrants with an average IQ of 70 (below the retarded level).

It’s crazy that more people don’t realize that we’re in late late stage capitalism and empire decline and all pretenses of culture, integrity, solidarity, community, decorum, are off the table and the powers that be are literally raiding the coffers to steal every last dollar they can before the whole system collapses. The mask is nearly fully off. People don’t even care anymore. They’re getting desperate and vicious. It’s not an instant thing. It will take years and decades to fully play out but that’s what’s happening. We’re close to the asset seizure phase of the exit grift. It’s what a scared society does. Look at Washington with the new income tax, this is just the beginning. Other states will follow. And don’t delude yourself into thinking it’s only millionaires, billionaires, etc. It starts there, it comes for everyone. You know this. Did you know California passed a law that if you have crypto on exchanges and you don’t log in or intersect with your account for 3 years, California can seize it? True story. This is all the beginnings of the currently in progress decline. 100% taxes, 100% seizure is the goal, complete totalitarian communism is the goal, and inch by inch we tiptoe closer to it. Protection? No idea. America as a whole is becoming Californicated. If every state in the US falls, if America falls, there really is nowhere else like the US to flee too. Expect more chaos, unfortunately more violence, mandatory seizures, push of people onto more seizable CBDCs, even go as far as to say banning of physical cash, barter, etc. Your bank account, E*Trade, Robinhood, fidelity, whatever can be seized in one nanosecond, don’t delude yourself. This post isn’t to scare it’s to illuminate. Just be aware of what’s coming. Protect yourself your friends and your family. Stay frosty. Choose life.

Keynesian economists perform elaborate mathematical gymnastics to "prove" that $1 of government spending magically becomes $1.50 of economic growth. This fiscal multiplier fairy tale ignores what Bastiat called the "unseen" - the productive investments that never happen because resources were seized by bureaucrats first. Every bridge to nowhere represents a thousand private innovations strangled in their cribs. The seen stimulus creates jobs for government contractors and ribbon-cutting ceremonies for politicians. The unseen is the cancer research, the small businesses, the breakthrough technologies that die stillborn because capital was diverted to political pet projects. Modern economies don't multiply wealth through redistribution any more than you create water by moving it between buckets.

⚡️This generation is the first born entirely inside the glitch. They were raised in a world where surface never matched depth, where school didn’t map to skill, where truth bent under pressure, where role models decayed in real time. Their parents were sold a dream. They were handed the residue. The reason they look broken is because they’re adapting faster than the old frame can interpret. Every metric used to measure them is stale. Every institution they’re judged by is misaligned. What looks like apathy is a refusal to pretend. What looks like dysfunction is a coherent reaction to incoherence. They were born with no stable gods. No trusted systems. No future to inherit. The smartest ones saw through the game by age 14 and checked out. The rest are caught in loops because no one ever modeled exit velocity. They’re not the end. They’re the first full exposure. When you strip away all pretense, all narrative comfort, all inherited illusions - what survives? Gen Z is that raw signal. What they become depends on whether anyone builds a structure worthy of their attention.

State of Gen Z > lower IQ than the prior generation > more likely to be depressed > more likely to be addicted to gambling > more likely to be anti social > less likely to drink alcohol > less likely to be in a relationship > less likely to have children What is going on?

Bitcoin is a neutral, open-source public utility. Like fire, water, or the internet. It is not a person. It is not an institution. It has no secrets. Corrupt people do not get to rob humanity of our chance to fix the mess we inherited. Bitcoin is the solution, not the problem.
