ECA traveled to Ohio for DOE’s Office of Nuclear Energy Consent-Based Siting Quarterly Meeting for Awarded Consortia. Kara Colton, ECA Nuclear Policy Director, had the opportunity to share best practices, lessons learned, and next steps regarding Consent-Based Siting @GovNuclear

Nuclear's future relies on community support. As we urgently need to shift to carbon-free energy, open dialogue with locals and knowledge exchange between municipalities is key. Met with Global Partnership of Municipalities with Nuclear Facilities reps to underscore this message.

ECA along with our other partners apart of the Global Partnership of Municipalities had the pleasure of meeting with @rafaelmgrossi, Director General of the @iaeaorg. Together we highlighted the importance of community support as we begin to shift to carbon-free energy.
