Pi Network
Pi Network@PiCoreTeam·
There are over 18 million identity-verified users on Pi. But there is one clear difference between Pi’s users and others. 1 million verified users on Pi ≠ 1 million users on other networks. Most networks measure growth in accounts. Few measure it in verified users. There’s a difference. Pi recognized the importance of identity verification early on and that unverified account creation is simply not enough. Verified identities are needed for any meaningful transactions, especially in real-world economies. Any time an asset (like crypto, fiat currency, property, etc.) is transferred, it raises a basic question of identity: who is sending it, and who is receiving it. If those identities aren’t clear, it becomes difficult to trust that the transfer is valid or that it went to the right person. Therefore, Pi Network has built a fully KYC-verified Mainnet ecosystem. Because when users are verified: Spam drops. Trust increases. Utility becomes more reliable.

The reports from the spokesperson of our great party, which exposes the plans of the government and its agents to revoke the licence of Rainbow Event Centre for the singular offence of hosting the African Democratic Congress convention slated for today, Tuesday, April 14, 2026, is a shameful and cowardly abuse of public office. Let it be said without equivocation: coercing a private business owner to deny a lawfully registered opposition party the use of a venue is not governance. It is not politics. It is the naked conduct of a regime that has lost the argument, lost the people, and now reaches for the boot because it has nothing else left. The ADC has paid every fee. The ADC has signed every contract. The ADC has broken no law. Our only offence is that we are organising, we are growing, and we are preparing to retire this failed government at the ballot box in 2027. This is how democracies are strangled, not in a single dramatic blow, but in a thousand petty, vindictive acts against opposition parties, against free assembly, and against the sacred right of citizens to choose their own leaders. To the international community, and every democratic partner of Nigeria: take note of what is being done here tonight, and in whose name. We will not be intimidated. We will not be silenced. We will not bow to this creeping tyranny, and we will never bow to the petty tyrants behind it. The convention will hold. The ADC will rise. And Nigeria will rise with it. -AA

What Nyesom Wike is doing in Abuja right now is exactly why Mallam Nasir El-Rufai carried out widespread demolitions during his tenure. At the time, El-Rufai faced severe criticism, with many calling him harsh, insensitive, and anti-people. Yet today, history has vindicated him, and people have come to appreciate that his bold actions were necessary to protect the city’s structure, enforce the master plan, and preserve Abuja’s long-term development. If you cannot see that Wike is taking Abuja backward, I honestly don’t know what to say. Today, lands that were never meant for residential use are being sold to build houses, parks and open spaces are being handed over to developers to build houses, without considering why they are left as park and open spaces there are reasons why. The city’s greenery is being destroyed. Planning principles are ignored, and short-term political interests are prioritized over long-term urban order. If this continues, another minister who we hopefully be like Mallam will come and have to step in to restore order. That will likely lead to another cycle of demolitions, eviction of illegally constructed buildings, and strict enforcement of the master plan. People will be rendered homeless, yet the same voices that ignored today’s chaos will accuse the minister of lacking empathy. If no action is taken, Abuja risks spiraling into disorganized urban decay, a mess that will be far harder to fix than the demolitions El-Rufai undertook years ago. WE WILL BE HERE!

President Bola Tinubu delivered a keynote address at the APC National Convention on March 27, 2026, held at Eagle Square in Abuja. The speech focused on his administration's economic reforms, infrastructure goals, and party unity ahead of future electoral cycles.   Facebook  +2 Below is a fact-check of key claims from the President's address: Economic & Subsidy Claims •Claim: State government allocations have "tripled" since the removal of the fuel subsidy. ◦Fact-Check: Mostly True. Since the subsidy removal and subsequent naira devaluation in 2023, the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) disbursements to states have increased significantly. While the exact multiplier varies by month and state, total monthly distributions frequently reached record highs in 2024 and 2025 compared to the pre-reform 2022 baseline. •Claim: Fuel subsidy removal was "essential for stabilizing the nation’s economy". ◦Fact-Check: Debatable/Opinion. Economists at the IMF and World Bank have long argued that the subsidy was fiscally unsustainable. However, critics and labor unions point to the resulting hyperinflation and the "tough" reality the President acknowledged as evidence of a poorly managed transition.  ◦Facebook
+1 Energy & Infrastructure •Claim: A speaker at the convention (and echoed in general party messaging) claimed Nigeria ranks 2nd behind India in renewable energy. ◦Fact-Check: False. While Nigeria has seen growth in off-grid solar projects, it does not rank second globally in renewable energy capacity or production. Major global leaders in this sector include China, the United States, and Brazil, alongside India. •Claim: The administration is "laser-focused" on concrete results despite "political distractions". ◦Fact-Check: Subjective. This is a standard political rhetorical device used to frame opposition criticism as "noise" rather than a factual statement subject to objective verification.  ◦Facebook
+1 Party & Political Stability •Claim: The convention proved that the APC remains "intact" despite predictions of an "implosion". ◦Fact-Check: True. The 2026 convention proceeded as scheduled at Eagle Square with the President and Vice President Shettima in attendance, successfully ratifying leadership changes without the widely rumored mass defections or legal halts.

Condolences to the El-Rufai Family I have just received the sad news of the passing of the mother of my brother, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, in Cairo, Egypt, where she had been receiving treatment. This is indeed a sombre moment for the El-Rufai family, as Mama’s passing marks the close of a significant chapter in their matriarchal lineage. The loss of a mother is a profound turning point in anyone’s life, regardless of status or position. My deepest sympathies go to Mallam Nasir El-Rufai and the entire family. May her soul rest in Aljannatul Firdaus. -PO
