Accountability/responsibility in education is often applied in this order (top being the most): Teacher Parent Student It should go: Student Parent Teacher And until we sort that, many of the problems we have will continue to worsen IMO.

@CeriStokes @educationgovuk Yes. But has to be realistic time scale. I’ve seen two week phases return/part time timetable implemented and it isn’t enough. Too much too soon. I’ve seen a few comments here about half a term and this is what has worked for me previously.

I tend to get pupils to read characters and I read the stage directions and guide them as to how they should speak towards the other characters.
