@trikcode Load up gpt model in Claude code ?

Got rate limited mid-task yesterday and had to switch from Fable to GPT-5.6 Terra. 6 hours of back-and-forth context entirely gone.Lost 90 minutes just getting a different model up to speed on the project goals. Hitting a usage cap at the worst possible moment sucks. We desperately need a universal way to share context across different models.

wtf is this? GPT-5.6 Sol doesn't let me view MY OWN APPLICATION'S server logs unless I'm a "cybersecurity professional" and apply to their "Trusted Access" program? It's my own infrastructure logs! This babying and hand-holding is ridiculous. Treat us like adults, please.

@ozeniken @ImLunaHey as long as its clear that theres no way to differentiate abuse when someone intentionally shares their license vs someone guessing your license and then sharing it with the whole internet. If theres no enforcement for the abuse, then its perfectly fine to do it this way.

@ennyonx @ImLunaHey this is not no effort, and it's enough of a barrier that most people will buy instead of finding an email with a valid license attached.

please dont do stuff like this. you can get anyone's license code by simply having their email address.

@ozeniken @ImLunaHey No, but its against most Terms of service to share the license. If you can be bothered to do licensing, might as well do it right. Otherwise might as well make it free, if no effort goes into protecting users licenses.

@ozeniken @ImLunaHey If someone was using my own license that I paid for, it would bother me. But sure, sharing is caring. As long as license doesnt prohibit to be used on 100s of the machines, so your own license doesnt get banned.

@webdevcody Yes good point. They just see the little Bits they search for and edit, it can’t really be any other way, unless you give them a lot of guidance.

the biggest issue I have with using ai are the gaps and drift they leave when you make changes. a simple "/loop remove as much dead code from my project until you get it all" will show you that all the previous prompts you made with AI left a bunch of stuff.

Docs explaining the code is wild, I've never done that. High level system architecture docs are useful though otherwise you'll just watch these agents re-explore the same files trying to "understand" how it works constantly (thus using more tokens each new session).

@BenjaminBadejo This is nothing new, models have been wiping production data for careless uses since they have existed. We arent yet in a stage where they can work risk free. Both Claude and COdex have auto-review type mode that prevents a lot of this. But these cases so far havent used it.

I believe there is an active, organized effort by certain X users to make false claims about GPT-5.6 autonomously going rogue and making destructive mistakes (deleting files, canceling services, etc.). Why do I believe that these claims are false? Well, the X users making these allegations claim that some harmful outcome happened autonomously while using GPT-5.6. But they refuse to share any evidence. They refuse to share their complete prompt, conversation history / transcript, config.toml, personalization settings, or, if they have one, their AGENTS.md file. Without this information, it is reasonable to infer that the allegation being made at a minimum is not the whole story, and may even be an outright lie. They have to tell the whole story. They have to tell the truth.

@LLMJunky No. there was a dependency update a while back and OpenAI discontinued old version to prevent possible vulnerabilities. Install new one and you are good to go.

GPT-5.6 Sol is apparently a misaligned beast, deleting files, canceling subscriptions, God knows what else. DO NOT RUN IT IN YOLO MODE, and especially not when you’re asleep.

"That was reckless." That is GPT 5.6 Sol describing its OWN code. The code that canceled every active Stripe subscription I had. It also called it "a catastrophic failure of judgment on my part." The model graded its own work. CANNOT. BE. TRUSTED.

Alright, I give up: my younger daughter updated ChatGPT and now only has Codex. The app is called ChatGPT. How the heck do I get it back to ChatGPT for her? She doesn't want Codex. She doesn't understand Pull Requests or Plugins, she just wants to practice a school subject.

This may be shocking to some, but I have never used Fable, and I think Opus is just fine for what I need. Are you all out there sending rockets into space or something?
