@AngieDiGerolamo @JohnBrock247 @ryanhallyall They Venturi effect. The constriction =the overpass. As a tornado approaches or even high winds in general, the constriction causes air within the channel to speed up and funnel more debris through. It's essentially like positioning yourself in a sandblaster.

@JohnBrock247 @ryanhallyall I get the idea of clawing yourself down in the nearest ditch/low belly at hand but I definitely would choose getting in that corner of the overpass all day long if I had a choice. What am I not understanding?

DO NOT park under an overpass during a tornado warning. You are putting yourself and everyone else on the road in extreme danger. Don't be a bridge bozo. We are tracking these dangerous storms live all night, jump in the stream to stay safe. WATCH LIVE: youtube.com/watch?v=iPpYSV…

@shawnmbaird @aburkhartlaw She discussed this the other day. I believe it was on both X and Twitter. That methodology has been determined to be insufficient for courts was the gist i got. Tobin led the charge to prove its insufficiency.

@aburkhartlaw They are likely testing the lead for comparison with ammunition found in Robison’s possession, home, car, etc. It may be possible to definitively say that the lead came from the same original source.

The ATF Report in Tyler Robinson's case is now available. It's clearly a summary report that doesn't provide great detail but it does have new information: 1 bullet jacket fragment and 4 lead fragments were recovered during Charlie's autopsy, The jacket is identified as coming from a .30 caliber class bullet. The jacket fragment shared class characteristics with Tyler Robinson's Mauser 98 rifle, so the rifle couldn't be excluded as having fired the bullet. But the fragment lacks individual characteristics permitting identification of one rifle to the exclusion of all others in the class. The engravings on the cartridge casings are consistent with a rotary tool like a Dremel. According to the motion, the State now wants to conduct Virtual Comparison Microscopy (VCM) on the jacket casing, a new technology in which the item is 3D scanned and virtually compared to a test fire. This might require the analyst to "unfold" deformed portions of the jacket, which could leave marks from the tool used to unfold the material. It could also potentially affect the structural integrity of the jacket fragment; an FBI analyst who received the fragment from the ATF noted that part of the jacket fragment has become detached in the packaging. The State also wants to do "metallurgical" testing of a lead fragment, the precise nature of which is unspecified. The defense filed the January 9th motion after they requested to be able to photograph the jacket casing in its current state and to attend or photograph any future testing, and its requests were denied. The motion is requesting that testing not be allowed to proceed without these conditions in place to protect the defense's ability to evaluate the testing. @IanRunkle Id click the link but honestly I don't want to reinforce the behavior of using word salad as a headline to force people to click just to figure out what it's suppose to mean. It's like having a randomized Reddit post for a headline

Yes and they will show you product delivery times from other sellers of a similar item and so I’ll choose the fastest one and then about 50% of the time it’s delayed and actually takes longer than the original product I was going to buy until they lured me to another product that is identical but falsely promised a faster ship time. This should be investigated. I think Amazon is intentionally lying about shipping times on some products over others.

I will once again be moderating. It’s going to be a good one and it’s an excellent opportunity to familiarize yourself with the case! 🔗 ⬇️

Aidan talks about the stigma against men reporting domestic violence and 12 seconds later the temu atty is asking him "if this incident happened in october of 2024, why did you date her until June 2025?" which is something i doubt he would ask a woman who stayed with an abusive partner

@lala3049 @GlammaSooz @Littlewalmartt And like I mentioned rarely do officers have even a decent understanding of the extent of injuries before we transport. They generally have to stay back a bit during treatment and due to the cold and severity the PT would have his injuries exposed during transport not on scene.

@entropyincarnat @GlammaSooz @Littlewalmartt The ambulance left Fairview at 6:27am and arrived at Good Samaritan according to Dr.Rice at 6:47. How much could someone’s condition change in 18 minutes?

@lala3049 @GlammaSooz @Littlewalmartt 18 minutes is a long time in the ems world. Especially when theyre already teetering on the edge. Often we'd get to the hospital with a patient like this and they'd immediately call it so we'd know he was deceased before the chart would even update

@GlammaSooz @lala3049 @Littlewalmartt I *thought* they called proctor shortly after the ambo left like 630 ish because it ended up being him who took it and I think he rolled off at 7 but jurisdiction didn't change til it was officially a death

@lala3049 @GlammaSooz @Littlewalmartt Patient condition can change significantly during transport. And cops are rarely close enough during the treatment process to see the full scope of injuries. Not trying to justify anything just trying to inform of the ems/pd interaction on similar calls

@GlammaSooz @entropyincarnat @Littlewalmartt Caller was from Canton PD. Saraf, Goode, Gallagher&Lank were on scene when John was transported by ambulance. They would have known the condition he was in, so why call Canton FD? Proctor was “notified” at 6:38am but MSP didn’t take jurisdiction until 7:59am

This happened in NC, no far from where I live a year or two ago. Supposedly the van had been driving erratically and the guy in the black car decided he was going to go after the van. Both drivers definitely were at fault in this. I don't know what ended up happening, but I wish there were stricter penalties for driving like this. Fortunately, no one was hurt or killed.

Another road rage meltdown: white van driver loses it because a car won’t let him pass. He ends up bumping the car and running it off the road. Luckily a cop was right there and handled the van driver. Best part? The giddy Southerner doing the play-by-play.

@GlammaSooz @Littlewalmartt After we left to get that info. I think I've had 1 where they called or messaged me on the MCT to get an update after we dropped off because they didn't have enough people to immediately come to the hospital.
