ALERT: Sheriff shot 3 times while in the hospital after stopping to help what he believed to be a stranded motorist on the side of the road in Indiana.
La Porte County Sheriff's Deputy Jon Samuelson pulled over to offer assistance to Sharod Grafton Jr., who was stopped on the side of the road.
Grafton requested to be transported to Franciscan Hospital in Michigan City.
While at the hospital, Samuelson learned that Grafton may have been involved in an earlier criminal incident, and after an altercation, Grafton pulled out a firearm and shot Samuelson 3 times.
Grafton then fled the hospital and into a wooded area nearby before deputies arrested him.
Samuelson was airlifted to South Bend Memorial Hospital and remains in critical condition.

Rep. Jamie Raskin spent over 2 minutes trying grill 16-year-old Texas high school student Marco Hunter-Lopez at today’s hearing on political Islam and Sharia Law.
What a clown.
Marco, who EXPOSED his school allowing "Why Islam" to hand out Qurans, hijabs, and Sharia pamphlets during lunch while censoring conservative clubs, simply pointed out America's Christian heritage and the faith of the Declaration's signers.
Raskin interrupted him repeatedly, demanded to know if he believes America is a theocracy, and lectured him on Jefferson's "wall of separation."
This is what happens when a 16-year-old patriot stands up for truth in Congress.
Marco stood his ground quite well against a man 47 years his senior. Good work, Marco.

@WallStreetApes Seems like a successful business owner and employer. Why didn't he just have all the nonsense cleaned up after being here for 30 years? Had the means and the time... Too bad for his business and employees. FAFO

The owner and chef of a popular Los Angeles restaurant has been taken into custody by ICE and is facing deportation
He’s been in America illegally for 30+ years
“He has a criminal conviction from Connecticut dating back about 30 years, a crime he served time for”
He had a gun inside the restaurant, apparently because it’s in a “tough neighborhood”
His name is Chef Carlos Lool, owner and chef of popular La Granja Rotisserie and Fuego Rotisserie in the Hyde Park area
Born in Guatemala, he’s been in the US for over 30 years
Criminal history
- 1997: Third-degree assault (Class A misdemeanor).
- 1998: Second-degree assault (felony).
- He served time for these. Additional records include DUIs and failures to appear
This could be avoided if people stop coming to America illegally

@WallStreetApes And? Other than clickbait, what is the point of this post?

Rep Eli Crane talks about the House effort to censure Senator Adam Schiff over his fake public statements on the Donald Trump-Russia “collusion” hoax
The resolution accused Adam Schiff of abusing his position as House Intelligence Committee chair by repeatedly claiming there was clear evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, misleading the public and Congress. But there wasn’t, it was all a lie, and Adam Schiff knew it
Unfortunately 20 Republicans joined Democrats to block Adam Schiff from being held accountable
One Big Club of criminals. It’s a Uniparty
Adam Schiff could have had to personally pay $16 million (half the $32 million cost of the Mueller investigation) if the Ethics Committee found he lied, made misrepresentations, or abused sensitive information
But Republicans voted with Democrats to save him

Now the truth comes out
The viral video showing NYPD throwing a New Yorker on the ground isn’t what it seems
- He was part of activists breaking windows out of New York police vehicles
- They were blocking a hospital’s entrance to stop ICE from deporting an illegal with assault charges
- The illegal with assault charges also had drug possession charges and was resisting arrest
- The illegal was from Nigeria
- There was a whole group of activists also trashing the front of the hospital in outrage that NYPD was helping ICE
Why are we putting up with these activists defending criminals. Arrest them all

@DeAngelisCorey Teachers are paid a very low salary compared to other fields, and when the impact on kids is factored in. Do any of these underpaid teachers acknowledge that their union dues finance huge union officials' salaries, bureaucracies, and ideological funding that do not benefit them?

House Republicans just voted to override the President and RFK Jr ... they will allow EBT SNAP food stamps to be spent on soda and other junk food.
Rep. Nancy Mace@RepNancyMace
The House just voted against banning soda from SNAP. Why should the government fund your soda purchases? If SNAP recipients want to buy sugary drinks, they can do it on their own dime, not on the backs of a taxpayer-funded nutrition program.

So Disney banned me for holding up 16" banner at Disney World, FL. A week later, they called, apologized and let me back in. They told me not to do it again. So I flew to Disneyland, CA and did it again with 20' banner, because they told me not to do it again. @JoeConchaTV

Another business down. 🙁
Santa Monica’s business environment is struggling, with high retail vacancies, shuttered storefronts on the Third Street Promenade, and restaurant/hotel sales down 4.1% year-over-year as of mid-2025.
The current City Council has pushed through parking fee and tax increases, including higher rates on private parking facilities and recent changes to public parking structures and meters. These hikes make it more expensive and less convenient for visitors to come downtown. They create a real barrier for shoppers, diners, and tourists, directly contributing to reduced foot traffic even as vacancies remain stubbornly high (around 15-25% in key retail areas).
Businesses’ lack of trust in the current atmosphere is alarming. The Council has shown it can’t resist raising taxes and fees when budgets get tight, and residents have reason to wonder what’s really happening with city finances. Businesses not renewing their leases is a clear red flag that the area is heading downhill fast. A new $3 million economic development fund to help attract and retain businesses won’t last long if the underlying problems of rising costs, declining foot traffic, and revenue shortfalls aren’t addressed. We’ve already seen significant losses in sales tax and other revenue due to these challenges.
We need leaders who understand that lowering taxes, cutting red tape, and reducing fees (including parking costs) can attract new businesses, fill vacancies, and grow the tax base organically. Other cities that have taken this pro-growth approach have seen more investment and jobs, not less. It’s time to stop squeezing the businesses that keep Santa Monica vibrant. Vote for pro-growth change this cycle.
We need long-term, sustainable growth for Santa Monica, not flashy policies timed for election season. I’ll go deeper on cutting taxes, fees, and permits for both existing and new businesses. Let’s get government out of our pockets and back into our community.

JUST IN: White House Correspondents Dinner gunman Cole Allen sent a manifesto to family members roughly 10 minutes before opening fire, according to The New York Post. “I am no longer willing to permit a p*dophile, r*pist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.”
“I’m not a schoolkid blown up, or a child starved, or a teenage girl abused by the many criminals in this administration. Turning the other cheek when *someone else* is oppressed is not Christian behavior; it is complicity in the oppressor’s crimes.”
“In order to minimize casualties, I will also be using buckshot rather than slugs (less penetration through walls). I would still go through most everyone here to get to the targets if it were absolutely necessary (on the basis that most people *chose* to attend a speech by a p*dophile, r*pist, and traitor, and are thus complicit) but I really hope it doesn’t come to that.”

Bill Maher asks how the government is “failing the poor so badly” when he pays “60 PERCENT” of his earnings in taxes.
“Last week was tax day… I paid the government probably almost 60% of what I earn. That’s a lot.”
“And I… wouldn’t mind if Bernie Sanders would stop saying the rich don’t pay taxes.”
“The top 10% pay 72% of all federal income taxes. And the bottom half, 3%.”
“The Democratic Socialists talk about socialism like we don’t already have a lot: Social Security, unemployment, Medicare, nutritional assistance, Medicaid, Obamacare, disability, housing subsidies.”
“How can you be soaking the rich and failing the poor so badly? How can it be that the federal government alone took in over 5 trillion in taxes last year, and we still need that?”
“Are we really this incompetent and corrupt?”
