@RonDeSantis @elonmusk @iliketeslas Update: the ladies in my family let me know that we in fact DO CARE about electric cars, but not for the reason most people think. They said that not having to go to gas stations increased their quality of life. Apparently, I underestimated how unsafe ladies feel at gas stations.

@RonDeSantis @elonmusk @iliketeslas 5 people in our family bought Model Y. We don’t care about electric cars, we wanted the FSD and we love it. I am spreading the gospel everywhere I can, but people still don’t believe it exists.

@MissJilianne How long do you keep your cars? $100/mo is $6,000 over the next 5 years. This time you know it works. Are you going to enjoy it or pout?

I could trade in my beautiful Tesla Model S Plaid with HW3 and the $15,000 FSD package for a Model Y Performance, yet I’d have to pay $99 per month for FSD Supervised on AI4 hardware.

@cybrgalaxy @RonDeSantis I have the same experience. Our dad is 88 and even though he would not admit it, I could see the stress creeping in every time he was getting ready to drive somewhere. We love our dad and it brought us so much joy to see him embrace his Model Y and enjoy going places again.

Ask my 94 year old dad about his Tesla. It will open your eyes. Changed his life. He told me stay he is finally at peace behind the wheel. He used to swear at every driver and worry about tailgaters. Not anymore. try a Cybertruck. It will change your entire view of the world around you and keep you safe. Plus they are so darn fun!

I’ve always opposed EV mandates, rejected the idea that EVs will save the world, and preferred traditional engines for vehicles like the F-150 I used to drive. That said, it’s clear that Teslas are absolutely top-notch products. It’s not hard to see how they’ve developed a dedicated following.

BTW, you can opt into their monitoring (development) program and your car will periodically send them pictures from your cameras. If you have something that you think is a bug, you can send an email to their engineering team with the VIN of your car, the exact (ish) time a phone pic or any other information, and they use it to improve the FSD software.

I am sure they are testing the heck out of it. I can tell the software is improving with time. Right now it may be overcompensating a bit, because it swerved quickly to avoid a black tire mark on the freeway. It never got out of my lane, but the lady in the next lane may have pooped her pants, by the look on her face.

It doesn’t target potholes, but it also doesn’t always avoid them. To be fair, once I focused on the behavior, I realized how difficult it is to tell the difference between a pothole, a tire mark on a concrete road surface, or a really dark shadow on the road on a sunny day, like when there is a partial tree canopy over the road. However, the AI is learning and I can see a noticeable improvement over time.

Do you know what Nazi meant? National Socialist Worker’s Party. I fail to see how Tesla driving automation fits into that. Whether you support being monitored or not, you are. By Socialists to control you and by capitalists to market to you and sell your data. That ship has sailed.

It has impressive specs, but the long wheelbase makes it useless in the places I want to go. Once I see it do the Rubicon trail, or go down the Black Bear pass, I will be convinced. Right now I think it would be prudent to write your obituary and get your affairs in order before you tried that.

76% of Pakistanis in Bradford marry their first cousins. “Pakistanis make up 3% of the UK population. They are responsible for 33% of birth defects. They are being born RETARDED. It’s costing the economy billions and billions because Mohammed married his cousin.”

If gun owners can be jailed for not locking up their guns, then judges should be jailed for not locking up repeat dangerous offenders?

🇺🇸 This is where your taxpayer funds are going. A Louisville museum gets a $1 million grant to guilt white people by having them wear slave chains. This is disturbing. At what point do woke people actually wake up?

@Rainmaker1973 I am really starting to wonder about Massimo’s anti AI bias. Kind of a Luddite. China and others are going full speed ahead.

A data center under construction in Fayetteville, Georgia, secretly drained roughly 30 million gallons of water through two unauthorized industrial connections that the local utility knew nothing about. One hookup was installed without permission, and the other wasn’t tied to any billing account. The massive unauthorized usage was only discovered after residents began complaining about low water pressure. The facility is still years from completion, with full operations projected in three to five years. In a separate incident last week in Tucson, Arizona, contractors for Project Blue were caught trucking municipal water out of the city, despite residents having explicitly voted against the project. Tucson revoked the temporary water meter and is now demanding two acre-feet of water credits to compensate the city.
