@Techgnostik @enn_nafnlaus I'm finding it increasingly obvious that people who are the quickest to judge or say unusually negative sentiments. Probably have most, if not all of their info wrong. Sometimes it's best to just sit back and zoom out to get a clear and accurate picture of a situation.

@TheShawnHendrix Just curious, did you calculate how much in electricity you spent charging? I’m trying to figure out real experience costs. Thanks.

Ok we went with a 2026 base model 3 15,000 miles a year $359 a month (1 and a half tanks of diesel) Now my big truck only moves if it’s being paid to move. If I had done this 2 years ago would have saved 10-15k Never having to drive again priceless.

@elonmusk @jeff7yt A BYD truck. Looks modern, very reliable. The price is very reasonable. Your Truck is just plain ugly.

Only when you drive the Cybertruck do you realize how incredible it is: a bulletproof tank that moves like a million dollar sports car! Reason for the angular shape is that the thick, ultra-hard stainless steel body panels cannot be stamped like the thin, feeble, paper-strength mild steel of other trucks. Cybertruck body panels would break 5000 ton stamping machines.
Mario Nawfal@MarioNawfal

One of Elon's most vocal critics just bought a Cybertruck. Brian Krassenstein, who has spent years publicly clashing with @elonmusk, announced the purchase yesterday. His reason had nothing to do with politics. He has a young family and the Cybertruck is the only pickup truck in America to hold both an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award and a perfect 5-star NHTSA rating simultaneously. When your fiercest critics are buying your product because the data leaves them no choice, that's a different kind of win.

@GotSeoul91 @TheEXECUTlONER_ In case you didn't know the 1/3 rule: "Never cut more than one-third of the grass blade height in a single mowing. This prevents stress, promotes denser growth and healthier roots."

@GotSeoul91 @TheEXECUTlONER_ Frequent mowing every other day (if growth requires) follows the 1/3 rule. It promotes thicker, healthier grass and fewer weeds. What does "Let your grass breathe." even mean?

This guy is driving by and stops to look at the robot lawnmower mowing this huge property. He is blown away and thinks this is really cool. Says he has never seen anything like it. Back and forth, slowly it goes. A man can mow faster, but, what is your time and wear and tear on your body worth? Some say they will never give up their mowing time, their two hours of quiet time. But, others have said that this type of mower can help with rental properties. They drop it off, it mows while they are gone, it has a camera, and an app for it. It saves them gas and the trip out to the property every two weeks. One person said it was the best investment he ever made. He didn’t have to mow one time last year and it mows the straightest lines and charges itself. You will still have to edge and maybe get some tight spots around trees and stuff and they can be pricey. So, would you ever invest in one of these? Would the extra time on your hands allow you to do something else, go work out? Tackle other projects? Would you want that kind of help? Or, is this part of the downfall of man and just something else to make us more lazy?

WOW this is completely insane. What is Elon's plan here? I thought this compute was for Grok. No more "misanthropic" comments moving forward then , I assume.

We’ve agreed to a partnership with @SpaceX that will substantially increase our compute capacity. This, along with our other recent compute deals, means that we’ve been able to increase our usage limits for Claude Code and the Claude API.

You probably have HW3 . HW4 is a night an day difference. Just did a 2k mile roadtrip and barely touched the steering wheel from parking lots to supercharger parking. Even around construction sites with the vision system following hand signals. Waymo makes a ton of mistakes btw: x.com/Cyber_Trailer

@0xSero They don’t ñ work globally at L3+. They’re L2 still. You need L4 for commercial. Ive had “full self driving” package across 3 of them for 8 years at this point. It’s made nice improvements but you cannot trust them around construction, in rain, sunrise/sunset, or w pedestrians

Elon will win the AI race. Mark my words. He’s the one with the entire high level vision and full vertical integration. Their models were never the point.

Almost bought a used 100K mile Honda Civic for my 16 year-old. Instead, I opted for a preowned lease on a Tesla Model 3 with 45K miles. After taxes, the monthly payment is $200. That’s less than we’d be spending on GAS for the Civic every month. And it’s still under warranty! Maybe we’ll buy it out in a few years, maybe we’ll turn it in and lease a brand new one. Either way, the cost savings of leasing (or owning) a Tesla can’t be ignored.

I’m glad this is happening, but isn’t it pretty bearish for xAI that they don’t need that compute internally? That the highest and best use of the compute is to rent it to another lab? I get it that the deal will be profitable for them, but it must be a gut punch to researchers.

@MechThumbs @GreenTechWizard @0hour1 @grok Tell this guy why he’s retarded. Using a YouTube video and a blog as sources. He also contradicted and self owned himself: “ Tesla has opened up more (public EPC/parts site, some diagnostics), which is better than many legacy automakers historically.”

You’re the insufferable, uninformed retard here. Tesla provides FREE official service manuals (service.tesla.com) and sells genuine parts you can order and ship home for DIY repair. Warranty isn’t auto-voided for owner repairs with Tesla parts your “refused service” claims are total bullshit, not policy. Read before calling people retards.

@MechThumbs @GreenTechWizard @0hour1 Can you name the only car manufacturer that gives owners full parts catalog access, lets you order parts directly shipped to your home with no dealership fees, and free access to tech manuals + diagnostic tools for $30 instead of thousands a month? Go ahead, I’ll wait

The whole point of this post is to shine light on right to repair. Once a company reaches selling to other companies. Right to repair goes out the window. I am glad you had no problems. Truly. I would like to have a culture built on the free market, rather than 3 big companies.

@elonmusk You have to have to be the world’s biggest idiot to think the world’s richest man is in any way aligned with ‘resistance’. The only thing this giant fucking fraud resists is paying his fucking taxes.
