@daifuling @AllanWBCQ You can buy a cheap $20 SW radio on amazon or get a SDR dongle for $30-40 and do it via your computer. A long random piece of wire as an antenna and you are good to go. It is not complicated.

Imagine getting an alert like this in Canada - you can remove "NOAA Radio" are we turned off all our critical WeatherRadio services, supposedly because everyone has cell phones and internet, even in remote regions. Now they are turning off the CHU time radio service.
