En 1983, Mahmoud Darwich accordait une interview intitulée "En marge du transitoire" consacrée à sa vie et à son œuvre. Et dès la première page, il raconte noir sur blanc comment les légions arabes ont poussé sa famille à quitter Al-Birwa, leur promettant qu’ils retrouveraient leur maison et bien plus encore après la guerre déclenchée contre le tout jeune État d’Israël.
A l’inverse des autres habitants arabes qui eux n’ont pas bougé et qui sont resté dans leurs maisons et qui deviendront les citoyens arabes israéliens

Gay Arabs living in Israel are equal citizens. I play rugby with Arab friends, party with them, they work in the same jobs.
One gay Arab friend got married to his Czech boyfriend and they live happily in Tel Aviv. Same as my situation with my Jewish husband.
If you mean how Palestinians are treated by the regimes in Palestinian governed areas — I suggest you ask them.
