@SCShipyards Chani is the part of the new movies I hate the most. She didn't have to brood and constantly stand at odds with Paul to be a strong character.

Obviously there are other things Villenoodle got wrong with his adaptation of Dune, but the destruction of the character of Chani is probably the most egregious.

Reminder that book-Chani was Paul's most ardent & damned near cultish supporter, even taking the time to learn the Weirding Ways, not some bitter, self-centered jackass who makes you wonder why Paul would exclusively have kids with her & not the literal Princess of the Galaxy.

I NEVER LIE. I NEVER have. I NEVER do. I NEVER will. I woke up this morning a 65-year old man, and feeling every day of it. Never did I think that at this age I would ever be involved actively in the Professional Wrestling Business. Today was the day that I was supposed to STOP watching the Current Wrestling Product and ease myself away from the business all together. Remember, it was less than a year ago that my wife and I were BLESSED to be able to buy or Dream Cabin in Upstate New York, which is serving as an Airbnb and we were going to depend on as our Retirement. Then I got a random call from an old friend @KayfabeSean who connected some dots with an old friend . . . Violent J. Last weekend I had two absolute GRUELING DAYS of TV. Two 12-14 hour days in a row---never off my feet---with travel in between. When I got home on Monday I literally couldn’t get out of bed for the next 24 hours. I even missed two of my own podcasts that day. That’s being 65. So the question I keep asking myself is WHY? If it’s not a money thing, and it’s not an “I Love the Wrestling Business Thing” . . . then what is it? It’s three things. It’s just three things, man. 1. I LOVE Violent J---Joe Bruce. If I could have the heart of this man for even ONE DAY, it would be an absolute blessing. I love WHO Joe is and WHAT Joe represents. 2. I LOVE THE JCW TALENT---In my stops working the Indies since TNA I always dealt with a lack of disrespect from this younger generation of wrestlers. They always “thought” that they knew more than I did when they didn’t---nor will they ever. One thing I was never going to allow was for myself to be disrespected---especially in an industry that I WORKED MY BALLS OFF IN to leave my mark. The second I walked into a JCW Locker Room---the Vibe was completely different. The respect that these young men and women showed me from day ONE---made me WANT TO BE THERE. In just three months I have grown to love them, WANTING to help them, see them grow not only in wrestling . . . but in LIFE. 3. YOU---THE FANS---Having been a wrestling fan since I was 12 years old, growing up on Vince McMahon Senior and then Junior, Sports Entertainment was a great source of fun and enjoyment for mr. That enjoyment extended well into my thirties. Man, there was just nothing like it. And, as fans---it was OURS. We weren’t “ashamed” to say---“We watched PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING”. But, in the last decade that has changed DRAMATICALLY. It is CLEAR---it is no longer about the fan, but rather BIG CORP and, what else . . . MONEY. The @WWE, the biggest wrestling company in the world, SOLD-OUT for the Almighty Dollar, no longer giving ONE SHIT about the fan who made them what they---WERE. Those three things are what keep me here. And, the truth is that I will do it for as long as I possibly can both mentally and physically. How long that is . . . I don’t know . . . we’ll see. In closing I just hope you embrace @JCWLunacy. We are all busting our asses to bring it back to you . . . THE FAN. The day I . . . we . . . phone it in . . . is the day that my ashes are resting comfortably somewhere on a fireplace mantel. I love you guys and Thank You.
