@JulesUTTDSJ @lvolpic I feel that to be a good biologist, you should equally be able to connect things and have this sort of abstract thinking; however, if you don't know what the cell cycle is, you indeed can't talk much about it 🤷♂️

@lvolpic @ermakov_mikhail People start on math young so they have sufficient background and for physics its mostly pretty old stuff that's settled... contrast that with bio and I am sympathetic with the memorization based teaching approach. The common language is so essential for higher level discussions.
