@JuliaDavisNews The Trump administration's decision to support Russia and turn its back on Ukraine will be recorded in history as the biggest diplomatic and military blunder of this century.
English

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth will once again forgo a meeting of roughly 50 countries supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russia. Elbridge Colby will virtually attend the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG) meeting this week instead of Hegseth.

@Geniustechw Terrific. What then happens to GE, Lockheed, Raytheon and Boeing? It will not be pretty.

@RepBrandonGill Just another sullen punk Republican bully. Identify each school and each classroom “full of illegal alien children.” But you will not because you cannot.

@larry_kudlow @generalkellogg So what? Are tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz? Is a tame Western-oriented group running Iran? Are the mullahs and their subordinates under arrest? The answers are all “no.” Just shut up.
English
Here’s @generalkellogg on the biggest losers in the U.S. blockade: “China has to see what we all saw in the last 38 days. The same thing the Russians saw. We beat every system they gave to Iran militarily. We beat them all.”
English

@pati_marins64 @Microinteracti1 The carrier will patrol hundreds of miles away from the Strait of Hormuz. An out dated relic. A very, very expensive out dated relic.
English

It is in the details that we truly understand the real situation.
The USS George H.W. Bush and its carrier strike group are currently off the coast of Namibia as they take the long route to avoid the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait.
If the American CSG is afraid to pass through the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait and risk being targeted by the Houthis, what kind of security can possibly be provided to cargo ships?
The Houthis’ equipment is of Iranian origin, but inferior to what Iran itself uses. Following this reasoning, how does this force intend to enter the Strait of Hormuz, which is infinitely more challenging?

@Jim_Jordan Trump made the call to Zelenskyy. That is why he was impeached. Are you claiming the call was never made?
English

It was a sham from the start.
The only thing we got wrong is that it is always worse than we thought.
God bless Tulsi Gabbard for declassifying this information.

Newly-declassified records expose how deep state actors within the Intelligence Community concocted a false narrative that Congress used to usurp the will of the American people and impeach duly-elected President @realDonaldTrump in 2019. Today, we reveal the truth 👇 🔗dni.gov/index.php/news…

@mikepompeo What are the benchmarks that have to be met in order to “finish the job?” Details are appreciated.
English

@AmbJohnBolton @Kasparov63 Use military force to accomplish what exactly?
English

It was never clear why Donald Trump thought negotiations with Iran would succeed, but he must now decide whether to return to military force or accept an enormous international political setback.

@thedailybeast @TheRickWilson A genuinely unique dunce who believes he is a genius.
English

He sent three stooges to botch talking peace, then went to UFC. He’s blockading a blockade. No one in history comes close to this idiocy.

An urgent phone call from Saudi Crown Prince MBS changed Trump’s decision at the last minute:
President Trump had intended to declare a complete ceasefire and end the fighting against Iran in exchange for the immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
However, a tense phone call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman dramatically changed the plan.
According to White House sources, bin Salman begged Trump not to stop the war:
“This is a historic opportunity – we must finish the job and weaken the Iranian regime once and for all.”
In exchange for continuing the fighting, Saudi Arabia offered an unprecedented package of economic and strategic incentives.
Key points in the offer:
• $100 billion transferred directly to finance American war costs
• Full and immediate normalization with Israel after the fall of the regime
• Direct oil pipeline from Saudi Arabia to the port of Ashdod, turning Israel into a major energy hub
• Investment of approximately $1 trillion in the U.S. economy + purchase of $500 billion in American weapons
• Establishment of a new regional defense alliance, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, and other moderate countries under an American umbrella
• Joint naval force to control the Strait of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb
• Funding of strategic U.S. bases in Israel
• Joint reconstruction fund for a post-regime “secular and moderate” Iran
In the end, Trump announced a temporary ceasefire, not an end to the war as was expected.
Senior diplomatic sources describe the move as “a historic turning point” marking the beginning of a new regional order.

Let it be said that @POTUS and his team went the extra mile to find a peaceful solution regarding Iran’s — the largest state sponsor of terrorism — nuclear ambitions and beyond.
There is no such thing as a moderate layer to the regime leadership. They are intent on acquiring a nuclear weapon over time, and I believe if they had one, they would use it.
President Trump’s decision to blockade the strait and regain control of international waterways from Iran is the right move.
It is time to finish the job when it comes to Iran’s nuclear ambitions, ballistic missile program, and their continued support for terrorist proxies.
I hope the world will finally understand the type of people we’re dealing with in Iran. I applaud President Trump for calling the question after 47 years.

@MichaelARothman Let us all know when tanker traffic resumes. Traffic has practically stopped for six weeks? How is that possible if Iran’s armed forces have been destroyed as Trump claims?

Iran’s Navy just 𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 transiting the Strait of Hormuz, warning them to stay away. The U.S. response? They cited 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐰 and kept right on sailing.
Iran threatened to fire. The American destroyers didn’t flinch.
This is a regime whose 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 by Operation Epic Fury — their leadership is gone, their missile sites are rubble, their navy is a ghost fleet. And their response to two U.S. destroyers clearing mines from international waters is to get on the radio and bluff.
More embarrassment is coming to the Iranian regime. They’re a paper tiger broadcasting threats from the wreckage of their own military infrastructure, and 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 in real time.

SecWar Pete Hegseth NUKES fat generals and announces a new twice-yearly PT test for top brass.
"It's unacceptable to see fat generals and admirals in the halls of the Pentagon, and leading all around the world. It's a BAD LOOK, and it's not who we are!"
"You need to meet the height and weight standards."
"Today, at my direction, every member of the Joint Force at every rank is required to take the PT test twice a year, as well as meet height and weight requirements twice a year. EVERY year of service."
Do you firmly support Pete Hegseth on this?
A. Huge Yes
B. No
