English

@Roderickfacts @AboladeSam027 @immortalstats Increasing minimum wage won't increase the income of private investors to earn enough to pay salaries. The economy is fvcked can't you see that?
Try running small business and try employing workers, then you will understand what the reality is.
English

@AboladeSam027 @immortalstats You lot can't read to save your life. Didn't you see where I said the minimum wage should be increased.
Dumb ass.

English

Just thinking about the DM that we read yesterday on the backup page.
Your girlfriend told you that she was going to visit her ex.
You then called her multiple times, until the ex picked and told you to stop calling her.
You broke up, then later went back to her to continue the relationship.
She later told you that she's seeing someone else, & that they have even collected marriage list.
And that they have canceled the wedding date 4 times.
She's now insisting that you should marry her, and that anytime she wants to go visit the man, she should inform you.
And you want me to advice you.
Shebi una see why I say make una dey pay me $20?
End.

@Fegz123 @OgbeniDipo @UmarIya10 Meanwhile, stop being tribalistic. The goal of all well meaning Nigerians is to rescue our country from scavenging APC.
English

Again, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not GEJ and you cannot hold anyone to ransom in this country anymore. We own this country together and we will collectively decide who governs us.
Hamma@HAHayatu
Money is good in politics but money alone cannot make you win election. Ask GEJ, they spent so much for the north 2015, those handling gave it and was rejected when they saw that money cannot work they ate it and slept, GEJ lost. Tinubus situation now is worst than GEJ.
English

@Fegz123 @OgbeniDipo @UmarIya10 Omo remove Peter Obi's picture from your DP if this is how you comprehend conversation. You just said Tinubu is going back to Lagos and I said no he will be going to Sokoto but I am not sure how you read it

“This boy’s name is Ugochukwu.
He’s just 13 years old.
He walked into our new office today to brand his apron.
When he came in, he greeted everybody and asked if we brand cloths. I nodded in agreement, looking at him.
Then he brought out apron.
“ Brother, I want to write ‘Business Boy’ on this apron”, he said, looking at me.
“ Who is the business boy?” I asked.
“Is me! I hawk pap in the street. People know me as business boy. I want to write it on my apron. How much ? “
I was very happy seeing someone at his age creating such unique way of marketing himself. I asked him to take a sit and engaged him in a cool business talk. He revealed that he loves business, he enjoys selling goods and making money. He wants to be a businessman in future. I gave him the advice I could at the moment .
I really love that boy❤️
We kept talking until my worker was done with his apron branding . He was so happy when I gave it to him.
“Brother how much, ego ole?”
“ Don’t worry, Ugo. Don’t pay! It is our little way of showing support to your business and what you said you’ll be in future. We’re proud of you. Jisie Ike!” I said to him.
Ugo was very happy and fulfilled.
“ I wanted to do this 2 years ago, but my mother said the amount for cloth branding is too expensive, so I stopped, but still had it in mind. Just today today I broke my saving-box and decided to come.”
“We’re happy to do it for you without you paying. We like what you’re doing.”
I saw how happy he was while leaving the office, and I was happy too for encouraging him to be better.
May he prosper in all he does 🙏

@kenkenlewu Why not sis,are sons in-law not part of the family?maybe their approach was wrong but his response was definitely wrong too.
English

My wife has been fighting me because I refused to pay ₦500,000 to bury her father.
Her family shared the bill for all the sons-in-law ₦500k each.
Meanwhile, the man has five grown sons.
I told my wife, “I’m sorry, but it’s not my responsibility to bury your father when his own sons are alive and well.”
She reported me to her family.
They called me, expecting me to comply.
I told them clearly; I will give what I can, but I won’t be forced to pay a fixed amount.
They got angry, called me rude, and said they don’t want my money again.
Now my wife hasn’t spoken to me since.
I'm the one being punished for refusing to do what her brothers should be doing.

FLASHBACK: INEC Chairman Joash Amupitan Served As Legal Counsel To APC During 2023 Presidential Election Petition At The Supreme Court
While men slept again, our team of young digital media forensic experts went further digging into the long buried truth about the hidden past of Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan, chairman of Nigeria's apex electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
This time, it has been uncovered that Amupitan's nomination as INEC chairman should never have been approved by the Council of State or even confirmed by the rubber-stamp Godswill Akpabio led Senate - @NGRSenate. This is because Amupitan served as Legal Counsel to the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the 2023 Presidential Election Petition at the Supreme Court, the apex court of the land where Bola Tinubu was ruled winner of Nigeria's controversial 2023 presidential election.
It must be recalled that Amupitan’s nomination by Tinubu in October last year faced fierce opposition by more than 1,000 eminent Nigerian lawyers, but zilch. BAT has already made up his mind that Amupitan is the man to do his yeoman's job in the January 16, 2027 Presidential Election. Amupitan is of the Yoruba ethnic nationality just like Tinubu.
Fiercely protesting Amupitan’s nomination under the umbrella of the Association of Legislative Drafting and Advocacy Practitioners (ALDRAP), over 1000 eminent Nigerian lawyers on October 11, 2025, called for the disqualification of Professor Amupitan as Chairman of INEC.
The group, made up of lawyers who are also staff and consultants of the National Assembly, argued that Amupitan’s previous involvement with the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the last general election raises concerns of bias and conflict of interest, in violation of Section 5 of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act and Section 19 of the ICPC Act.
In a letter addressed to the President of the Senate through the Committee on Electoral Matters, the association said its mission is to promote professionalism in the enactment of Nigerian laws through public legal education and public interest litigation.
At the time, the lawyers stated that they deemed it necessary to alert the Senate ahead of Bola Tinubu’s expected request for the confirmation of Amupitan as INEC Chairman, insisting that the nominee does not meet the qualifications required to head the electoral body.
The letter further urged the National Assembly to, as a matter of urgency, return the President’s nomination letter without referring it to the Committee on Electoral Matters.
According to ALDRAP, “Professor Joash Amupitan, having served as Legal Counsel to the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the 2023 Presidential Election Petition at the Supreme Court, is automatically disqualified from holding the position of INEC Chairman.”
The association reminded the Senate of its previous decision to disqualify Lauretta Onochie in 2021 over her political affiliation with the APC, noting that a similar precedent should apply in Amupitan’s case.
ALDRAP also warned that confirming Amupitan’s appointment would create the impression of self-benefit, given his prior role as lead counsel to the ruling party.
“There are over 200,000 lawyers in Nigeria. If the President and the National Council of State have decided that the next INEC Chairman should come from the legal profession, there are no fewer than 100,000 Nigerian lawyers who are neither members of any political party nor have served as legal counsel to one,” the letter stated.
“It is from this category that His Excellency, the President, can select a suitable candidate to avoid any appearance of bias.”
The association further cautioned that if the Senate proceeds with Amupitan’s confirmation, it would initiate legal action against the upper chamber to challenge the appointment.
