@vegetalpuppet Sometimes think I have wasted my life out of shame
English

@9mmsmg Every few months we do a zogslop check and order all the new Taco Bell items. As fake-Americanized Mexican its 2 levels abstracted from real food
English

@_chase_____ The government doesn't want you to know this, but you can actually just buy flour and not do anything with it. I have 128 lbs of flour at home
English

@PeteJawny @BigDickBarclay @MustardFren That’s how it worked when I did my ductless unit. But with a big split system there’s no telling how far the lineset has to go so don’t think you can rely on that.
English

@BigDickBarclay @MustardFren @ethinva Don't most condensers come precharged with enough refrigerant for a typical lineset anyway? Such that only if it's extra long (far away) would you need to top it off to sufficient levels?
English

@unusual_whales The Gates quote "Everyone always overestimates the change in two years and underestimates the change in ten years" especially applies to finance people

@roryisconfused Curse words are softened by a strong accent. An Alabama redneck saying “slide at over a cunthair for me would ya” doesn’t sound bad.
English

@itsqail 100% correct, this would be my exact list as a long time road bike rider, only I have’t seen enough Teslas and other pickups are bad not just F-150s.

@Sparkpoodle1 It destroys a lot of proteins. This is obvious if you ever try to make cheese with pasteurized milk. You barely get any curd and it doesn’t hold together.
English

I can not understand what the big deal is with pasteurization? It's literally just heating milk for a set time then rapidly cooling it
No chemicals, no high tech equipment, it's just heated milk
FactPost@factpostnews
The FDA has announced at least 7 people have contracted E. coli linked to cheddar cheese made from raw milk.
English

@avidseries You can tell a podcast has jumped the shark when they spend the first 10-15 min talking about the podcast and NOT the topic of the podcast, ie events, giveaways, previous guests
English

@SynBio1 Because an environment of all scientists is a social monoculture. Undergrad or grade school is more of a healthy ecosystem with a range of personalities where you can have robust networks of similar enough people.
English

Extroverts are rare among scientists
It's not uncommon for dozens researchers to nucleate their social lives around that one people-person who has all the rizz and does all the social labor
If that one person leaves, the entire character of an institute can change overnight
Kush@kush_147
When you meet a new friend group and realize there's genuinely a friend group hierarchy worshiping one person
English

@EverythingTunde Its a code violation for boobs to be that far apart who inspected this
English

@D3V1NKM @realAAAbbott What torque settings put it on tornado mode and hold on tight
English

Don't forget to teach them tourqe settings and importance of it, also different types of screws, self tapping sheet metal vs machine vs wood vs drywall, metric threads vs same. When to use an impact driver vs drill. Oh and don't skip the variances you will get as your battery begins to drain.
English

@Rothmus Insane that we just had a bunch of big books with “everything” in there and that’s how you’d look stuff up.
