Nissan e-NV200 owners. Probably the highest mileage covered in UKs e-NV200 in just over 3 years. Travelled UK-Lithuania-UK in it, 4000 miles.

If you’re in @Tesla and traveling via A1 - avoid Grantham services, all units are dead, Tesla sat nav didn’t try to avoid it! Crawling to the closest one 10 miles away

@HullTeslaModel3 My work van windscreen been changed few weeks ago, and installer had silicon squeegee, after washing it off it left few lines too (he said it’s because dirt can get into silicon and then deeply scratch windscreen). Yours after valet before handover?

Random Tesla question. We collected our brand new Model 3 just three weeks ago. It was particularly bright over the weekend with the sun being at a relatively low level. For the first time I noticed one continual scratch in the windscreen. It's almost the full depth from top to bottom on the drivers side. Total stab in the dark, but has anyone come across anything like this? @TeslaOwnersUK

Last post on this subject. Charged to 100% last night from 5% Put in 45kWh When we went down to Spain recently, we arrived at Alcobendas on 0%, charged to 97% on the SuC, & got in 47kWh. Will keep letting the car 'sit' at a range of %, & see whether with time, we can get more kWhs in 🤞

@olddiesel @HullTeslaModel3 I’m in an S, but on main screen it shows how much it went in total, and on the smaller screen - how much straight to the battery

@HullTeslaModel3 Is 45 kWh what went into the battery itself or is the Tesla able to work out what it draws from your charger

This car is more interesting to look at than our Tesla and has buttons 🎉. I fully expected Hyundai to neglect the Kona like other brands have with their first EVs. Each iteration outdoes the others and holds its own against IONIQ. Well done Hyundai 👏🏽. youtu.be/GRdDnwYFcQk

I’ve just had 10 mins looking around this, and yes, it’s driven from Sweden to Scotland. It’s beautiful and the quality is fantastic. I really do fear for European manufactures, the Chinese are going to clean them up.

@HullTeslaModel3 @TeslaOwnersUK Need to keep in mind that Nissan’s battery, no matter how it’s hated by some, keeps very well, considering how many times it’s being cycled over the time vs other brands

So the results are in after the battery test. We're down to 88% on the battery state of health. Explains why we struggle to do 145 miles at French autoroute speeds from 100% 44kWh usable @ 3.3 miles per kWh is 145 miles 🙂 And being honest achieving 3.3 is a challenge at times. Thinking about it, I suspect it's best to stick to 70mph in France, 11mph below the speed limit to improve our economy. I'm guessing on our average days driving it'll add a half hour to the drive, but otherwise it's an extra supercharge which probably adds a similar amount of time. Wow, such different vehicles. If it my money, I'd go with the newest possible car. Lifetime supercharging is a great incentive, but how long is that lifetime at that mileage!? Having once owned an EV van, even normal 70mph kills the range, but if you're happy with 56, then I'm sure the van would be fine.

@MerPolTraffic If it is capable of doing 30mph without the rider pedalling, it is a motorcycle. Please don't refer to unregistered, uninsured motorcycles as bicycles.

This bicycle had a large battery pack taped to the frame, making it capable of riding along at 30mph without the need for pedals. The rider didn't notice our motorcyclist following behind who managed to grab hold of him before he rode away into Newsham Park #Seized.

@davidwfrench @evmanuk Model 3 big?! I’ll be in the corner with my S then 😅 no, in all fairness, I came to Tesco’s yesterday, there was model 3 plugged in and A3 E-tron parked next to it, model 3 is only fractionally longer, so I wouldn’t say it’s big by my standards

@evmanuk I’m hearing local reports of people only getting 2 miles per kWh in current conditions with their Teslas - across all models. How has your efficiency been? Do you take any special precautions? /cc @bobbyllew same question.

@rivergecko @TeslaInTheUK If they use same technology as Mazda, 4 coats, V46 soul red, that will be pain in backside if you will ever need to respray it. Aluminium flakes adds desired effect, but having lots of downsides too.

@TeslaInTheUK Agreed👍 Part of the reason quicksilver is so fab though it is finally a real vibrant metallic Existing Tesla metallic colours are so limited in choice & and generally flat only looking metallic when the sun is shining looking a kind of dull matt on cloudy days..esp the blue/red
