Prediction: Trump will lose tomorrow and it won't be particularly close. And then he will have done to the GOP (of which I was a registered member until 2017) what he has done to every business partner he has ever had: completely screwed them over.
He's always been a bad candidate, and he's a much worse one now than he was 8 years ago. He has never won the popular vote or even cracked 47%. Incumbent parties are losing elections all around the world, but the incumbent will win in America due to a near best in the world policy response & subsequent recovery, and due to a clear majority of Americans being fed up with Trump.
The GOP, and America, will be far better off without him. Good riddance.

@aweissman happens often for me too. i like to imagine being in the studio as it comes together. can’t imagine what it must feel like when you finish one of those masterpieces and know what just happened.

@PeterOlivier you missed the step about reducing expenses in things like safety which in this case seem problematic. but directionally seems good for society. especially since the employees would likely move to lucrative careers in climate tech.

@leoncrawl @ApplePodcasts good luck on the amazing journey that awaits…

I finally ditched my @ouraring after giving it a third try.
I found it gave me sleep anxiety rather than deep insights. I also found that my body naturally knows how I slept if I’m embodied and present.
Am I alone on this?

@BiellaColeman nice to see you too. i’m aware of what you post here so i feel like we are still in touch. i mostly just lurch. sorry about the mold situation.

@evankorth I am doing some stuff, am limited by a very difficult housing search due to mold. Otherwise I would be there 100% instead of the smaller things that I do. Nice to see you Evan as well :)

@AlmostMedia i used to do similar things upstate where it never gets that cold. chilblains are a thing you want to avoid because they come back. though mine might have been caused by more prolonged exposure to cold during long treks.

So @alexlmiller is doing a “space walk” where he runs from the house to the barn to check the solar array. It’s 5-6 seconds in -45F and he’s wearing flip flops & shorts

@AlmostMedia our tank stays within a high and low pressure. once it goes below a certain pressure reading it shuts off and the pumps needs to be manually tuned on until it gets back in that range. do you know how to power the pump manually?

My homestead friends @alexlmiller and I woke up to an issue with our well. Any ideas? Ok fellow rural friends, need some help
Woke up to no water at the house this morning.

@michelletandler @POTUS "meaning lawmakers would need to vote to extend Medicare and Social Security.
Biden on Thursday also cited comments earlier this year from Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), who suggested funding for Social Security and Medicare should be approved yearly through the budgeting process."

@michelletandler @POTUS "Much of the focus during this election cycle has been on a proposal from Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.), the head of the Senate GOP campaign arm, released in February. The 11-point plan to “Rescue America” included a proposal to sunset government programs every five years, ..."
