Unfortunately, as South Africans we do not travel enough within Africa, and pay very little attention to life above the Limpopo river. It shows.

@MR_K_R_B @suntoshpillay At least I own land, so does everyone I know. Again, Nairobi is ours, built by our hands, not like you who got no control of your cities. The fact that you guys have built nothing is the reason you think a Zimbabwean immigrant has taken your job.

@MkatekoRobert @HermLategan The day you will stop being obsessed by the word "illegal" is the day you black South Africans will wake up. If I may ask, how many of you own arable land? Like you have an ancestral land, which is fertile and family owned? You guys need to wake up from slumber.

@HermLategan How convenient that you always omit to mention the prefix "illegal" before foreign nationals. Entering a country illegally is a crime. These people commit heinous crimes and we don't see you talking against it. Your agenda is to see SA fail like your Nigerias and Zimbabwes.

@jackson_rem @smozee36 @Sebabi_M You guys need to know that the whole Xenophobic crap is driven by the West to separate South Africa from African nations due to its stance of the Gaza issue, but you guys are too dumb to notice it. Every nation has illegal immigrants, even the guy who washes my car is Burundian.

The hate directed at South Africa after the loss to Mexico is becoming so excessive that it's pushing even South Africans who were once sympathetic toward illegal immigrants to rethink their position

@Sentletse Europe is facing the same script. Blame immigrants (black ones), which would force African nations to reconsider their treaties with European nations. Then the US will step in, denying Europe raw materials for their industries and market for their goods.

Once Israel successfully frames South Africa as a xenophobic state where African migrants are routinely attacked, it will exploit that narrative by staging false‑flag incidents targeting Jews. The intended script would be straightforward: “South Africa’s hostility toward fellow Africans has escalated into violence against Jews, who are being accused of genocide in Gaza.” Israel presents itself as the protector of Jews worldwide and has demonstrated a willingness to act militarily or otherwise. By emboldening xenophobic actors here, we inadvertently play into the hands of a powerful adversary. The failure of government to clamp down on these vigilante groups poses a serious national security risk. State security is passive and sleeping on the job. This is deeply disturbing. Political tolerance that is driven by short‑term electoral calculations has allowed dangerous and unaccountable actors to operate with impunity. These morons are further inflicting long‑term reputational and strategic damage to the country. The state needs to act decisively to neutralise these threats and restore the rule of law.

@Braveheart_97 @WaruiJohn2 This guy is called Warui, raised by a single mother, hence all he knows is to hate. To him, everything revolves around hate. That's why he is so obsessed with other teams' losing rather than his team winning, it an issue with his culture. Don't blame him.

Imagine being so starved of your own team's success that you have to celebrate a team lending a hand in the Champions League final just to feel something. Arsenal won the Premier League and lost the UCL final by a single kick of a ball in a penalty shootout. If your highlight of the season is watching another team lose at the absolute highest level possible, you aren't a football fan, you’re just an obsessed spectator. Get off your knees, the obsession is getting embarrassing.

The idea that Arsenal (under Arteta) are now in a position to dominate the EPL needs to be well thought out. Understandable thought, considering the current state of the EPL, but probe your premises well. Arsenal finishing 3rd or 4th next season is not even far fetched.

I don't want to sound tribal but if Somalis, Kalenjins, Luos and Luhyas vote together that's a guaranteed win for President William Ruto. Kambas and Kikuyus can vote as cousins all they want to fill the opposition space.

@_stayliquidd @Briankariu Out of Ruto's 7.1m votes, 4.2m were from outside the 10 Mt. Kenya Counties. Now add the 4.2m with another 4m of what Raila got in 2022, that's 8.2m as a head start already. You mlima people need to stop overrating your votes.

Mt Kenya people will not lie to you fr💯💯💯💯,,and this is not from a tribalistic point of view but what I have seen kwa ground. In 2022 when Baba came to campaign in my village shopping center, I remember we had just buried my friend's father na tulikuwa hapo local bar tunakunya. And we came outside to listen to him. I know deep down he left knowing he'd not garner any votes there. People didn't heckle him but they didn't react. They just murmured amongst themselves,, listened to him and he left.. Mt Kenya people are not violent. They do not react, even when Gachagua was impeached they just sang their "Thaai tútirí ûkarí no ûtana songs" and moved on It is exactly what will happen to Ruto. No heckling,no nothing, but he'll feel the wrath come 2027.
