It's time @PMOIndia should reiterate and give more benefits with focus to Surat. Its fastest growing city in Asia but justice is not given in terms of air_rail connectivity, sports facilities, solar, semiconductor, IT and Aerospace industries. If given it can deliver much more.

@sanghaviharsh Surat is ahead of Ahmedabad in GDP numbers & yet Surat is conveniently ignored when time comes to give something. Just 15 daily flights is something that we should be ashamed of.I can say with conviction that bureaucracy & leadership of Gujarat has let Surat down.

Gujarati's think IT when Gurgaon & Bangalore are spoken in same breath wrt to Startup Ecosystem. Worst take and one of the reasons why Gujarat is behind. Gujarat Startup Ecosystem is atleast decade behind. We lack basic infra like 1. Access to top tier minds of the domain because most of us always think every introduction is a transactional and its always about Funding. We know how to build a relationship with customer but when it comes to Startup all we think is Funding. 2. Ecosystem to experiment and fail. 3. Access to global markets and research. Been part of the Gujarat Startup Ecosystem now for more than 6 years and if not for @kushgrwl bhai help and guidance we would have not raised from investors all over the India and outside India that too via Twitter. If i start telling everything that's wrong within the ecosystem no startup will ever dream about raising funds from Gujarat or even talk to anyone.

Bill amount is high, and moreover the reliability of piped gas is also doubtful. People have spare gas cylinder just in case gas doesn't come 2-3 days. And this was from last year.

Average households order a gas cylinder worth Rs. 900 /- approximately. Which lasts for about 2 months . Now PNG bill be around Rs. 1400/- per month which means Rs. 450/- per month will rise 3 times . Monopoly lies in the hands of Adani’s IndianOil-Adani Gas Private Limited (IOAGPL).

Ahmedabad and some of its FLEX - 24 Hr Electricity - 4x better roads & local infra compared to rest of India - PNG supply line since 2 decades (approx) - No political influence in day 2 day life - No language barriers - Cost of living lesser than all metros with 4X better infra than metros. - 2 Balconies mandatory in every appartment - Cheaper real estate compared to other developed cities. We don't believe in 1HK and 1BHK concept but lately we are getting influenced by metros. Hope we learn its a mistake. I was naive enough to believe if ahmedabad has png means rest of India must have already gotten it first. Joining twitter has opened my eyes about how much i over estimated other cities and their development.

@takatakha @priteshlakhani AFAIK, Surat has surpassed kilometre wise length in BRTS. Sitilink BRTS spans over 110 kms whereas Janmarg BRTS is appx 90 kms.
