There’s some stuff that hasn’t been going that great this year, but #Powerlifting has been my outlet! First comp yesterday and couldn’t be happier. S155kg, B70kg, D170kg 395kg total. @juliannejtaylor met your coach, she’s awesome!

@berger_nicky One night I meet a cattle beast on a corner near home, returned to tell the neighbor and they asked what if it was a steer. I replied " f#*ked if I know, it's big, black, 4 legs and in the middle of the road, I didn't think to ask its name"
English

Facebook when there’s a post to say a couple of cows are out on the road.
“They’re steers”

Seems like a good time to re-up my grievance: there is no gender-neutral singular for these animals.

@berger_nicky 🤣 I love to deliberately mispronounce/annoy. 😉 "look at those baby sheeps" "why what big udders those boy cows have"

@ashngreer @ktuluadam @nbrangenberg I've been too busy to plant seeds so I brought seedlings in town yesterday to fill the gap 🤣
English

@ktuluadam @everydayfarmer @nbrangenberg Going have a whole lot that are nearly ready so gunna get going on some seeds today I think!
English

@ashngreer @nbrangenberg Rule of thumb on our house was when you're transplanting 1 lot of seedlings into the ground it's time to sow the next lot eg broccoli, cabbage, all winter crops to be in b4 Xmas, once 1 lot of fast growing stuff is up, sow the next, eg lettuce, raddish, spinach
English

@nbrangenberg I have plenty of seeds, and quite enjoy growing from seed, but i just struggle to get the right balance to have something to pick from the garden year round, and when to plant to have it ready in say 5months time.
I just struggle with i need to plant X to have ready in Y

@BenDooley8 @AuntThistledown Maybe so but all the best people come from Waikouaiti 😉
English

@AuntThistledown Sure it looks similar to the parking at the NY day races 🤣

This is what tree planting of farm land in Western Southland looks like. Tree seedlings on the hills and productive flat land. #sacrificingfarmland

@cobb808 @fairleigh_ag This takes 3 and I've got the +1 that clips on, so can take 4 bikes in total
