Got rugged on Monet yesterday I’m still trying to figure it out. The rug happened nearly after 24 hours and it did pass all filters except Community token and a lack of social presence. Seen a lot of community tokens do well tho but maybe avoid any token without an X? I dunno Lost only about 1.2 Sol thanks to quote fees

Last week I got rugged real bad, multiple times and the worst one was last Saturday with a huge -11sol lost. But I don't whine about it, the most important thing to do after any loss is to go back and think hard about the loss. I thought hard about them and came to the conclusion that my method is just not suited for coins that are too new. So I applied a filter to only LP on coins after 12h old. The results speak for itself, 6 green days in a row and I am nearly breakeven for the month. Let's hope it continues and pile on the green days until end of month and beyond. So I asked Claude about this token only fees for the new DLMM update. Generally we will actually earn more fees if we do sol sided LPs due to not having token fees that drop in value when the token dumps. BUT it also changes my playstyle that needs to wait for a bounce. Now there is no incentive to wait for the bounce as there is no token value to increase, so this is actually bad for the charts as much less people waits for the bounce, causing red bars to become bigger. I think it will only be useful when paired with bid ask wide range. Will need to test it out, and also pool dynamics will change, what if there is the same exact pool but with the two fee collection modes, which pool do people choose? Lots of homework to do to be successful. @met_lparmy @MeteoraAG @MeteoraIDN

Sometimes Panda does stupid things, like open Long on Jup Perps with 50x leverage, fees paid is expensive, it will hurt more if the position is a loser. This time Panda got lucky, next time it will be liquidation. So only use perps when the timing is right and get out when the first signs of trouble happens.

Was a good day yesterday with Babytroll giving many oportunities to DLMM in. This was before the quote only fee update. If we can keep printing in the bear market, what more do we want? @EvilPanda Looking at the reaction of people this time, I think I moved well to Meteora. People are not serious about winning. Honestly, this update is a matter that everyone but top 20 conservatively and 50 broadly should complain about. But surprisingly, there are no complaints.

@meteo_sol of course with every new update, people will come and go, life goes on. Adapt or leave, that has always been what life is about. Find a place where you can find the edge.

@EvilPanda I know how many of all the LPs make money and I know about the percentage of who plays professional LPs. I know several of your wallets as well. Time will tell. Some of the people I see now will disappear.

@meteo_sol If you are skilled you will earn in any environment, in this case yes you earn lesser but not to the effect that it makes you go broke, but there are startegies that can actually make you earn more due to the change in market conditions

@EvilPanda There is a contradiction in what you say. It's a minor hit for someone with $10k, but it discusses inequality based on skill. If you're talented in the first place, there's no reason to think about the $10k position. Ecosystems go extinct in order from the original herbivores.

@EvilPanda When I saw it I had several doubts... If we don't get token, we don't need a pump, but we also won't gain that much, because I think the big profit come from the pump and not from the fees. For that reason, we'll we just use spot with tight ranges? 🤔

No there is no need to wait for a bounce, as long as the fees have covered the IL you can close anytime because you dont get any token fees now if you use quote only fees pool. Technically if you caught a huge volume dump, you dont even need to wait for a bounce, just close when the volume dies off.

@EvilPanda Mr. Panda, shouldn’t we still wait for the tokens we receive from the pool to rise in price before swapping them into SOL? This update may reduce IL, but we still need at least a small bounce.
