@AP4Liberty Numbers from 2010 showed that by 2025 ALL federal revenue will be consumed by entitlements & interest on debt. Numbers have gotten worse since then. Trump economic advisor this month admitted Trump "really does believe govt spending stimulates the economy" youtube.com/watch?v=SlS-zY…

@AnnCoulter Mullin advocated violence against Americans (Rand Paul in this case) and now seeks to lead a department supposedly to defend Americans. No apology needed either, as Mullin is willing to "set it aside". Government is the problem masquerading as the solution.

@PeterSchiff Anybody else have a problem with all audio being completely muted after a minute or two of listening? It keeps happening to me, the only fix is to click "leave" and then rejoin which gets annoying real fast

@zerohedge US Steel sure sounds to me like "distortion with intent" so I guess "Trump was right" by acting like China? FTA: "US Steel may not be state-owned, but it is certainly now controlled by the US government" atlanticcouncil.org/blogs/new-atla…

It’s the “then what” that always gets them.
The Daily Signal@DailySignal

We Could Defeat Iran in Weeks—But Then What? We could defeat Iran militarily in weeks—but what then? @RandPaul warns it’s the unintended consequences that matter. “ The unintended consequences in Afghanistan took 20 years. When we finally left, it reverted back to the stone ages within six months. We wasted a trillion dollars in there.” @SenRandPaul joins @bradleydevlin on this week's episode of "The Signal Sitdown," out now on YouTube 👇 youtube.com/dailysignal?su…

Mushroom clouds over American cities, Americans supposedly on the verge of being mass-murdered by a country on the other side of the world that can't even secure its own military facilities. These guys really can be activated into 2003 hysterics with the flip of a switch
toddstarnes@toddstarnes

At what point is military intervention permissible? When there are mushroom clouds over American cities? How many Americans must be slaughtered until we are permitted by the isolationists to take action?

@LibertarianMama 98% of ones laughing at Gary never heard of Allepo & just decided to dogpile on him after the avalanche began. I liked Herman Cain's 2011 answer "And when they ask me who is the president of Ubeki-beki-beki-beki-stan-stan, I'm going to say you know, I don't know. Do you know?"

I’m old enough to remember when everyone laughed at Gary Johnson when he was asked with zero context, “What is Aleppo?” and didn’t provide an immediate answer. And yet now everyone is jumping on Tucker Carlson for asking Ted Cruz the population of Iran, the country he wants to bomb. So which is it? Is the interviewer to blame for the gotcha questions, or is the interviewee to blame? This is clearly hypocritical.

@LPINorg If you understand why posting the below doctored image is a bad idea (divisive and actively drives people away from LP), you'll understand why posting a rainbow version is just as bad. Stick w/ "don't tread on anyone", don't brand it gay, Christian, atheist or otherwise

The exercise of individual rights by one person doesn't interfere with the rights of any other person. #PrideMonth is a great time to recognize this. So is every other month. Since 1971, the Libertarian Party has advocated for the rights of ALL people.

@zerohedge Did Zerohedge suddenly turn establishment (pro-tariff, inflation forecasts are too pessimistic, Fed should cut rates) or has it been this way for a while and I didn't notice? The Zerohedge I remember was anti-tax (tarriffs are a tax), anti-inflation, and anti-Fed

@InsanityIsFree @LPNational BTW I had to slap that Satan image together myself as uber-inclusive AI (CoPilot) refused to generate an image for me on the grounds that it would might be "misinterpreted or seen as potentially offensive, even when the purpose is to support inclusivity". How about that

@InsanityIsFree @LPNational No, the party of markets should also be the party of marketing. If the LP tweeted out an image of Satanists (example) with the the message "don't tread on me", it would be extremely divisive and far, far more likely to make people actively anti-libertarian than attract members

The @LPNational account has caved to the anti-woke mob and censored this post. Because it's run by and for cowards. Morally and philosophically bankrupt authoritarians who have no desire to oppose oppression if it's inconvenient. Washed out corporate losers and GOP sycophants.

@InsanityIsFree @LPNational LP should not post images of pride with "don't tread on anyone" just as it shouldn't post the same text with images of: Christianity, Satanists, atheists, prostitutes, weed smokers, etc. Such messages ONLY serve to divide, not unite.

@ChaseForLiberty Setting aside whether or not it's even a good idea, before unrestricted immigration can even be put on the table certain conditions would have to be met and the first LP presidential nominee John Hospers wrote "A Libertarian Argument Against Open Borders" mises.org/journal-libert…

From the 1976 Libertarian Party Platform "The principle of non-initiation of force should guide the relationships between governments. We should return to the historic libertarian tradition of avoiding entangling alliances, abstaining totally from foreign quarrels and imperialist adventures, and recognizing the right to unrestricted travel and immigration" Support for unrestricted immigration has been part of our party for nearly 50 years. Libertarians aren't cool with unneeded restrictions on free movement.
