@collin_jilbert @dhh I used marks for years until I found ctrl+o and ctrl+i to go backwards and forwards through your recent locations. Combine with ctrl+^ to go back to the previous file… 👨🍳

@dhh @Neovim @Zellij_dev Not sure about you, but I get a different "zen" feeling with a full-screen terminal. 100% focused on code. Like a physical book vs Kindle on the iPad. Rubymine is a must on the work monolith (jump to definition actually works!), but I'm buried under menus and popups.

@dhh @thomasgalibert I’ve been experimenting with Proton Drive for synching iOS photos to Linux desktops. If Proton is as good on Android as iOS, may be worth a look.

@thomasgalibert To sync data, I use: Dropbox, Google Photos, and LocalSend (included in Omakub). Haven't been missing anything in that mix.

I feel like I fall somewhere in the middle of this range. Yes, we must ship to pay the bills. But, security and reliability can kill a business as quickly as running out of money. I’d add testable business logic as well, even if the test coverage slides, keep the code testable.

I feel like there are 2 types of developers: those that are product minded and those that are purely development minded. The latter struggle in startups because they because they find it difficult to understand the need for making development trade-offs in favor of product goals.
