@HELIODOPTERO Not exactly. Congress is elected every 2 years in the US compared to every 4 in Colombia. And Trump isn't outright ignoring or defying the Supreme Court's decision; he's pivoting to alternative legal methods to achieve similar policy goals, (though these could face a court too).

In the coming days, we will learn whether the terminally ill democracy of the United States still has the nerve to prevent Trump from bulldozing the Supreme Court and finishing his hostile takeover of all three branches of government. Congress today is a hollowed-out institution, populated by cowards, sycophants, and professional bootlickers who exist solely to serve his power.
