'Scale without Boundaries' is the theme for #IMC26. Unveiled by the Honourable Minister for Communications Shri @JM_Scindia, the theme reflects India's readiness for the world. This edition of @exploreIMC marking it's 10 years, showcases what India can do for the world, how Indian innovations and technologies are serving and ready to serve humanity without any borders or geographic demarcations. Aligned with this theme is #ViksitTech47, a special programme on the agenda where the world will witness India's evolution in gadgets and devices. The world will see how Indian brands are no less than global counterparts, the world will witness that for every global brand India is second home, and the world will witness how global consumers are proudly using Made in India gadgets and devices. This programme is not just another exhibition, just another conference or just another awards function. It's India's platform to showcase and tell the gadgets and devices story to the world. I invite all gadgets and devices #OEMs, all enablers and stakeholders to be a part of #ViksitTech47 programme and be a part of the initiative to tell your story and exhibit your love and commitment for #India. For more details DM or write to info@techarc.net @techarcinsights is the privileged knowledge partner for Viksit Tech 47 at India Mobile Congress 2026.

In an unprecedented move @HDFC_Bank says its board decided to fine its top 3 execs, including sitting CEO Sashi Jagdishan, in MSRDC case. Board calls it "business overreach", rather than mala fide action. Does it remove overhang OR cast a shadow on CEO reappoinment? Thoughts?

I love to advocate tech based solutions to problems. But suggesting this one was not with a heart. Same feeling I had when CCTV installation was seen as a solution at the time of Nirbhaya tragedy. Its good to find solutions in technology, but the best thing is if we change ourselves. In paper leak menace there is someone like me, a parent ready to pay to secure a paper, there is some child who wants to ‘succeed’ without deserving it, and there is someone on the other side, making money, may be for the children to make their life. Finding solutions in tech is fine, but we have to work on our social and moral value system. Nevertheless, hope you agree that this could be a solution, may be sometime in future. kashmirlife.net/can-ai-rpa-and…

#India has come a long way in its devices and gadgets journey. Today, virtually every major brand either manufactures in India or is exploring it as a base. But we are yet to identify who could become the equivalent of what #Samsung is to Korea, or what #Apple is to the USA. There are, however, a few promising contenders. The journey so far has been undersold and under-told. Unless we give our accomplishments the right voice, the right platform and the right pitch, we will never feel confident that we're on the right path. For instance, we talk endlessly about smartphones as a market, but rarely as a story — the manufacturing scale-up, the design wins, the categories quietly maturing beyond phones, the brands betting big on India as more than an assembly line. That's the gap Viksit Tech is built to close. I'm thrilled to share that Viksit Tech — presented by @exploreIMC , Asia's largest tech fest and the marquee platform driving digital and telecommunications policy, thought leadership and future innovation — will bring gadgets and devices to the IMC stage for the first time, in association with @techarcinsights . A dedicated platform — report, index, event, pavilion, podcast, awards and more — to document, benchmark and celebrate how far India has actually come, and how the next decade will shape up as we move into the Viksit Bharat era, a vision and mission outlined by our Honourable Prime Minister. This one's personal. It's an attempt to give India's device industry the record it has earned, but never quite had. More very soon... #ViksitTech #VT47 #IndiaMobileCongress #IMC2026 #Techarc #GadgetsAndDevices #IndiaTechStory

Such events are very common in other parts of the country. But for J&K, especially Kashmir this reflects something. This reflects the changing story of the valley which has been known for years known for its handicrafts, natural beauty and great spiritual legacy. I know many facilitators do not meet the expectations and there is always a gap between expectations and delivery. But it's a gradual process. Gradually we will see the benefits also accruing. This holds true for anything for that matter. We need to first increase the visibility and engagements, impact will follow. All the best to the organisers, speakers and the delegates for these 2 days and looking forward to tangible takeaways. Kashmir me ab sirif saeb (🍎) hi nahi, startups bi hain! @IrtifLone @JKEDI4U

Today we published a very important report. In collaboration with #AIMRA we published Retailer Pulse of the #India #smartphone industry. The report is based on a survey among retailers 'brand frontiers' spread across the states and UTs of the country. These 1126 retailers meet hundreds of customers each day and are grossing a business of over 7,000 crores annually. As the report suggests these are extraordinary times for the industry and the entire ecosystem will have to come together to strengthen the entire chain of delivery including the retailers. Through this report, these brand frontiers have put forth pointed and actionable suggestions before the government as well as the brands. I am sure if both the government and the brands act upon these recommendations we will see a frictionless and seamless movement of the value chain that benefits consumers, partners, brands and the government. Read these very interesting insights at the post below. I am extremely thankful to @LakhyaniKailash ji and the entire @AimraIndia leadership for this collaboration and we resolve to bring more 'street intelligence' before the stakeholders.

💡 What drives smartphone loyalty and recommendation in India's highly competitive premium segment?
