Can anyone connect me with Philips/Versuni India's comms or PR contact? I'm not sure which agency handles them now (It was Ruder Finn before, then Compass).

IMHO @oneplus should not have taken many decisions in one go, especially when there is business as usual and launches are scheduled. For the brand, continuing #offline presence for the moment would have made a lot of difference. There is a situation that has emerged. Different stakeholders including customers will have their own reading, many a times based on hearsay and guess work. That is where the offline retailers would have been extremely critical in ensuring that the trust between the brand and customers remains unaffected. #Online channel is fine and it is every right of the brand to decide which mediums to operate in the best interests of its customers. But online cannot and will not do that personal convincing that offline would do. OnePlus is a wonderful brand and has brought in meaningful innovations all these years. To be fair enough, the idea and convincing execution of 'premium' in Android is all because of the vision of OnePlus that its founders saw over a decade ago. Before OnePlus, it would appear that #android will never be able to compete premium experiences that others like Apple or BlackBerry had introduced to hashtag#smartphone users. Every event in an organisation does shake up the confidence of stakeholders, especially customers. The recent announcements by OnePlus will create many doubts and perceptions in the minds of consumers, which may have an impact on their potential sales. To add to it, the competition will play its brutal opportunist role. Several competition brands will try to add to this confusion to the extent that OnePlus is exiting the market. As of now there is no such sign, it is a corporate restructuring within the group, which is every 'for profit' entity's right to keep on reposturing in the interests of all stakeholders including customers. However, at this moment, snapping offline does not seem to be a well thought out decision in my earnest opinion. OnePlus needs right now 'trust ambassadors' along with the great products and experiences that it is known for. This role at a large pan India scale, which is also very personalised could only be played by the offline retail partners who on their personal surety could have convinced many potential buyers, and at the same time, given a sense of confidence to potential buyers about the brand, its roadmap and business continuity. I think this decision needs an introspection. My 2 cents! @OnePlus_IN

As a market analyst I have to be neutral and stay by data and #insights. But it was nostalgic holding an @htc #smartphone in hand after years, all thanks to catch-up with Krishan Kalra last evening. He shared very interesting insights about UAE and Middle East market besides Nepal, among few more. Would love to see #HTC back in #India someday soon. I am sure many in my network here would have the same sentiments. The phone I have in hand gives a ~₹40k feel and look, but it's not that expensive. PS: As a consumer, I would have spent most on HTC buying their smartphones in the past. 😀

Talk to 1 retailer and you get insights worth 1,000 customers. And when you get to interact with the champion of mobile trade @LakhyaniKailash ji, it’s like hosting a townhouse! It was so enriching and productive meeting with Kailash ji and Navneet Pathak ji from @AimraIndia India’s premier and only authentic representation of mobile retail fraternity. At @techarcinsights we believe retailers and trade partners are frontline ambassadors and trust builders of brands and having a healthy and happy relationship with trade fraternity is their strong and defensible USP. Thank you Kailash ji for your time and I look forward to strong association between two of us 🤝. Something interesting brewing. Stay tuned….

A bit nostalgic take! This red mic has been the torchbearer of truth, transparency and trust. When I held in my hand at the NDTV @Gadgets360 event yesterday attending on a panel, I felt a sense of responsibility that this symbolic and equally iconic @ndtv red mic has been the medium of brining credible and responsible information and news. Felt honoured to hold it in my hands remembering innumerable icons have held it in their hands and told the story of India - changing, rising and growing India 🇮🇳

Congratulations @LavaMobile on completing 17 years of grit, determination and resilience. The last 12 years have seen the market dynamics completely on the opposite side for #Indian brands in the #smartphone industry. Lava has braced and braved these tides to emerge as the torchbearer of Indian brands in the industry keeping our hopes alive that we may one day see a domestic brand in the smart devices rising to the league of tier 1 brands, especially when India enters the era of Viksit Bharat 🇮🇳. Somehow, I feel our government’s approach has to be fundamentally disruptive that helps homegrown brands to emerge as strong and competitive players and not just remain like any other brand in the industry. The policy has to be strategically different walking extra-mile to facilitate Indian brands grow bigger and stronger. Of course, only for brands who thrive and survive with honest intent. Lava definitely is one such brand that deserves a lot more from government than what it gets. My honest opinion about how domestic homegrown brands should be differently treated to create an equitable market condition. Note : The data and facts captured in the below infographic are based on the release received from Lava on this feat.

Honor Alpha phone (Robotphone) is versatile and offers unparalleled stability. Yes it has one of the best gimbal in any #smartphone that gives it the necessary elements of a #robotic behaviour. @Honorglobal It, once launched will catch everyone’s attention, something new to explore and equally meaningful too. The hardware level innovation makes it behaviourally interactive. #aismartphone #ai
