Humans caused this problem – by creating consumer demand for commercial fishing rope to exist in the first place. A human solved the problem – for this one whale shark. The issue is that this one human is in the minority, while fish eaters are the majority. This must change 🌱

The House of Bruar is selling a range of fur products from foxes, raccoons and more. Fur farming is illegal in Britain and selling it shouldn't be allowed, but the Government refuse to ban fur imports despite huge public support to do so

Last job of the day involved a swim across a lake in Prescott to rescue a little #Canada goose gosling entangled in fishing line on an island. Very luckily it was a quick rescue and release back to parents & siblings 👍❤️

@PlantBasedNews What about the actual farmers that raise their animals but end up eating them later ? ( not talking about the factory ones since there are real farms that actually give their animals the best life possible before the killing and eating happens.)

17 years ago today I moved away from home to become an RSPCA Inspector. I’m still as passionate as I was back then about animal welfare. It’s really not easy at times but it’s something I always want to do. Be the voice for those that can’t speak

The thing that's worrying me most about the gammy foot is that it would mean I can't do the new #community #cooking opportunity if I was successful in getting it. :/ I need to get it sorted, but there's no real short term treatment for it. I was in a cast for nearly 2 years.

Slow loris Nora is an early riser- she is often up before the lights switch off in her bedroom. Nora was rescued from the illegal wildlife trade in Lebanon, with the help of charity Animals Lebanon. She now lives with our other loris in their moonlit enclosure, which simulates night during the day, so the loris are active and awake when we can monitor them. 📷 : PCS Hannah
