Been working with my daughter on writing her numbers. I asked her to write 1 thru 10 a few times. She wrote 1 thru 11. THAT is what I call giving it 110%.

Making chocolate milk ice cubes with my daughter. Told her to write a “do not open” post it for the freezer while they freeze. This is what she wrote. So I’m pretty much gonna have to take the day off I guess…

Lately I hear the term NaaS used by some vendors and analysts, but not really by actual network operators and network managers. That's just my experience, so do you think NaaS is really a growing trend in enterprise networking?

@Drew_CM @network_phil @EddieTheAnvil NaaS is packaging. NaaS is to networking as saas is to software. Vendor owns and operates it, and delivers a UI to a customer. Billed via consumption or subscription. It is nascent in the enterprise.

You get one config change on Friday at 5PM without repercussions and your least favorite IT manager is on call. What are you changing? 😂

@TracketPacer overused marketing term diluting the value true NaaS could enable. Fundamentally it’s a delivery mechanism for networking functionality. SaaS is to software as NaaS is to networking. Unfortunately way to much non-NaaS stuff is being pushed as NaaS. It’s a NaaSty situation.

@SharpNetwork Happened to me a few times. One time, I didn’t see/hear it and the person I was on a work video call with had to inform me it was happening. Another time she proceeded to start eating it (surprise, free snacks!) before I could shutoff video and address the situation
