🚨BREAKING: There is NO water in The Rio Grande?! I’m standing here in New Mexico and the river is completely DRY. Nearby AI data centers are consuming massive amounts of water to keep their systems cool. Meta’s Los Lunas facility alone has reportedly been tied to roughly 75 million gallons of water usage per year connected to Rio Grande resources and it’s only ONE of many projects expanding across the state. People can argue over the exact numbers, but one thing is undeniable… these facilities require enormous amounts of water and there are more data centers across the country being built as we speak. This is starting to look like an environmental disaster in plain sight. We need to put pressure on local representatives and the President to examine this environmental crisis before it’s too late.

Today is Memorial Day in America – a day of national respect for each and every person who defended America and freedom in uniform. Without the United States, there simply would have been no European freedom – and the 20th century proved this absolutely clearly. Now Russia’s full-scale war is not only against Ukraine, but also against the very format of such a Europe – a free, democratic, united Europe. It is Euro-Atlantic unity that has been, and remains, the foundation of the world’s economic and, in many respects, social development after World War II. Ukraine is grateful to the United States for supporting our defense and to all compassionate American hearts that continue to support Ukraine. This war must be ended – and ended in a dignified way. And America’s role in this – America, which Russia fears – truly can be one of leadership: in supporting our defense of life here and our ability, later on, to help defend life for other nations, those who truly need it. Thank you, America!

Every year, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring. They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died. France also gave us this land as American soil. #MemorialDayWeekend

We owe all that we have to the selfless Americans, in our own generation and back through time to the Founding, who gave their lives defending our nation. Memorial Day calls us to remember our war dead; to honor through action the lives they lived, the families who carry their memory, and the sacrifices that make possible our way of life.

This is the future Trump and Doug Burgum want for America. Oil spills in our oceans and waterways without penalty. Toxic beaches. Birds and sea mammals washing ashore dead. Ecosystems destroyed. All for GREED. 🌎

Russia continues striking civilian targets and killing people in Ukraine. ▪️ A Russian attack on a civilian business in Derhachi, Kharkiv region, killed two men aged 25 and 68 and injured 22 others. Warehouse facilities, cargo vehicles, and cars were damaged. ▪️ Today, Russia also carried out a massive airstrike on Kramatorsk in Donetsk region, dropping five FAB-250 bombs on the city. A 38-year-old woman and a 64-year-old man were killed, while three other people were injured. Fourteen apartment buildings, a post office, an educational institution, and administrative buildings were damaged.
